No red-ball cricket, no problem.
Two more boundaries take Joe Root to his fifty from 55 balls.
England's total has now gone beyond 500.
Pope 197, Root 43
Ollie Pope doesn't find that boundary and loses the strike for the next over. He has scored 100 runs just in this session, a feat Ben Duckett achieved before lunch. It is only the second time that - two batters scoring 100 runs in a session on the same day - has happened in Tests.

I mentioned earlier I had random petals on a cake recently. They were geranium petals, I have been told. Odd.
Another over passes without a boundary. Are these two playing for tea? Pope is a hit away from a first Test double hundred.
Pope 193, Root 38
Five singles, no boundaries, in this latest over. That's a win for Ireland.
Michael Vaughan
Former England captain on BBC Test Match Special
The hard thing about bowling against this England side is that pretty much all the batters now have the ability to find space wherever they can in the field. They've just got the skill levels to find third on a regular basis, or play strong down the ground shots.
Ben Stokes is back on the balcony, still in his training kit. You can settle down if you're on declaration watch.
You can hear happiness draining from Michael McNamee's voice with every boundary hit on TMS.
We have seen some good shots today but this might be my favourite.
Ollie Pope creams Curtis Campher through the covers.
England's lead is now exactly 300...
There's a fella in the stands in an canary yellow ODI shirt, baggy green and wicketkeeping gloves. He's either a proud Aussie or someone who has lost a bet.
Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow have disappeared from the England balcony, just saying...
Stephan Shemilt
BBC Sport chief cricket writer at Lord's
In fairness, if Ireland had picked Josh Little, this would have been pretty decent practice for some 50-over cricket.
Pope 180, Root 32
I know we just expect this from England now but we shouldn't forget how remarkable this is. Say what you want about the standard of bowling but England are 466-2 and haven't even batted a day's worth of overs yet.
Lead by 292
That's big!
Ollie Pope sends a short ball way back into the stands with a hook shot. He's now on 179.
The partnership with Root is worth 103 and they've only been together for 79 deliveries.
Ben Stokes is on the balcony but he's still in his stylish round sunglasses and bucket hat. He looks more likely to head to a beer garden than call his batters in with a declaration.
Ireland have fielders scattered everywhere to try and stop this onslaught.

Cricket statistician on Test Match Special
England have moved from 350 to 450 in just 12.4 overs.

This is carnage. Pope tries two reverse scoops - the shot we've renamed the Scope - and misses. He then decides to just stand still and whack the next one for four.
There have been 61 runs in the last six overs...
Pope 166, Root 28
Where are the sandwiches and sausage rolls?
That is buffet bowling.
Spinner McBrine bowls one halfway down and Pope, who has just passed 2,000 Test runs, cracks it to the fence.
Sir Alastair Cook
Former England captain on BBC Test Match Special
I just can't read this England team and I don't think anyone can. It wouldn't surprise me if they pull out 280 ahead, but It also wouldn't surprise me if they let everyone bat as well.

Pope is in full one-day mode. He waits for Campher, dabs the ball into a big open space and is scurrying down the pitch in search of a couple. He turns for the second but Root sends him back.
There are 40 minutes until tea.
