It is the fourth time Joe Root has taken two wickets in a Test over. The first three were all in Asia.

It's ghastly, it's terrible, if you are Australian you are thinking what is going on? What on earth was Cameron Green doing?
Big turn from Joe Root to end a very successful over.
It's far too wide to the left-handed Alex Carey, who is happy to leave it. Jonny Bairstow does well to claim it.
A real bonus over for England at the end of a day of toil. Travis Head had earned the right to go on the attack but Cameron Green just gave it away.

This is a shocker. It really is. It's a drag down delivery, he's trying to punch it over mid-wicket and it loops to Jimmy Anderson.
From a position of pure dominance, they still have 5.1 overs until the new ball and still a good half an hour play to go.
Green c Anderson b Root 0 (Aus 316-5)
What is going on?! Two in the over and it's a huge giveaway from Cameron Green!
It's a horrible drag down from Joe Root, the batter tries to launch it over the leg side but gets it all wrong and the ball loops gently to Jimmy Anderson at mid-off!
Cricket's the winner, there...

We've seen some dismissals over the last Test or two. Beautiful bowling from Joe Root. It spins, plenty of purchase there, it just stays in Jonny Bairstow's left hand. Travis Head is over a metre and a half out of his crease. It spun quite sharply.
Head st Bairstow b Root 77 (Aus 316-4)
Big turn for Joe Root and Travis Head is stumped by a distance after coming charging down the pitch!
Well bowled by Root, he saw him coming and went slower and wider. Head swung and missed and ended up in a heap on the ground.
Jonny Bairstow had to stretch to reach it, just about managed and then completed the stumping.
England have opened up an end...
Smith 73, Head 77
Just three from Ollie Robinson's over but nothing to suggest the Australia batters are anything but extremely comfortable.
Jimmy Anderson is in discussion with umpire Chris Gaffaney. I can only presume he's pointing out that it's getting quite dark out there...

Oliver Camp: This England side deserves loads of credit for the new approach and the success it has brought. And we should definitely continue with the aggressive, intense attitude. But it doesn't give a free pass for sloppy, low-quality stuff. Today has been poor.

Josh Tongue has bowled a couple of beauties today to get Usman Khawaja and David Warner. Ollie Robinson is about to replace him.

James Buxton: Absolutely abject from England all day. Men against boys.
Four dot balls to end the over and a play and miss from Travis Head on the cut.
Small victories for England...

Travis Head has moved past Smith, he's eyeing up a century here. He's raced to 75.
Travis Head is down the pitch to Joe Root and clatters the ball past mid-on for four.
The runs just keep coming. England have no answer.

Australia are Bazballing the Bazballers here.

This is a bit embarrassing for England, they are getting smacked around the park.
Australia go past 300 with four leg byes but it wasn't far away from Steve Smith being lbw.
He was a long way across his stumps but England decide against a review. It wouldn't have overturned the not out decision but ball-tracking show it was very close - umpire's call on hitting the stumps.
Travis Head then pulls Josh Tongue for four more.
I think I can see those England wheels that came off disappearing into the distance...
The 100 partnership is up from 104 balls.
This is not getting any better for England...
