Chris Cooke pulls Logan van Beek powerfully through square leg for four, but the Dutch seamer has the last laugh, pitching the next delivery up and finding Cooke's outside edge.
Cooke has taken Glamorgan past the follow-on target with his punchy knock, but the visitors are still facing a significant first-innings deficit.

Poor ball by Jamie Overton - who was presented with his county cap along with Jamie Smith during the lunch interval - at the start of a new over and Sam Hain goes up on his toes before thumping it through the covers for four.
An uncomfortable moment for Hain at the end of the over as Overton fires in a lifting delivery and he does well to keep on top of it.

A legside strangle and Essex have lost a fourth wicket.
Dan Lawrence will be annoyed with himself as he attempts a flick off Ethan Bamber and only diverts into the hands of the wicketkeeper.
A first wicket of the innings to seam and Middlesex are right back in this contest.

Disappointment for Dane Vilas as he goes back to one from Jack White and inside-edges it onto the stumps.
Vilas had battled hard for 68 balls, but a change of ball has done the trick for Northants.

Gloucestershire are 4-0 in the fourth over and need another 41 to clear their first-innings deficit.
