Another day of County Championship cricket is over.
Sadly, only 10 left to go this season now.
And yet today's headlines are dominated by a team who weren't even playing, Durham, whose promotion back to Division One after a seven-year absence was confirmed earlier.
And all, with great irony, as far as Durham are concerned, following their fate in 2016, on the day when another first-class county Middlesex were reported as being in financial hot water.
But Yorkshire also put in a good effort, running up 500 in Cardiff before getting Glamorgan in trouble.
As for events in the top flight, Kent look well on top at Canterbury in their bid to drag Notts into the relegation dogfight.
But it's hard to call yet, just where Middlesex and bottom club Northants stand in their respective games - especially with some dubious weather forecast over the next two days.
Half an hour after they went off, they still have not called it off yet!!
The dark sky over the Birmingham city centre is an ugly shade of near charcoal grey, (almost) everyone has gone home - and still the floodlights are on.
And umpires Bailey and Pratt have yet to call time!

Kiran Carlson (53*) and injury-sub Dan Douthwaite (17*) have steadied the ship at least, having come together on 100-6 with Matthew Revis collecting half of those.

Earlier SHan Masood finished off a sublime 192, with Fin Bean (91) and George Hill (71) helping the visitors amass 500 exactly.
Lot of grit required for Glamorgan to avoid a comprehensive defeat.

Leus du Plooy is using his feet well to the spinner, getting well forward to block.
The last ball is played defensively from the crease and the 7th wicket pair survive.
There's little batting to come after this pair though, and there's a new ball due in five overs.
Gloucestershire will be very pleased with their shift this evening, reducing the visitors from 132-0 to 255-6.
Slow left arm spinner Zafar Gohar was the pick of the bowlers with 3-68.
