    Jayant Yadav ends a strong session of play for Middlesex with a maiden over.

    Lancashire were reeling after the loss of three wickets for 16 runs in 4.4 overs on a pitch that is certainly offering grip and turn for Yadav and for Josh de Caires.

    But Luke Wells has held firm and goes into tea unbeaten on 59.
