Notts 384 v Middlesex 366 & 211-6
Jake Ball has what might well be his final Nottinghamshire wicket as Josh de Caires, going for his half-century, heaves one to extra cover and is caught by the diving Steven Mullaney.
It might be Ball's last wicket for the county - but it's the first to be taken at the newly-named Stuart Broad End.
Middlesex lead by 193.
Glamorgan 25-0 (target 384) v Derbys
Lively start to the post-lunch session by Glamorgan's openers, although it's hard to see them mounting a successful bid for this target of 384.
Nevertheless, Eddie Byrom has just struck three boundaries off a Sam Conners over and he has 14, while Zain Ul Hassan is 10 not out at the other end.
Durham 457-8d v Leics 143 & 112-8
Bit of a false shot from Will Davis, who cuts Matt Parkinson and gets a thick edge to third man for two.
Three runs off the Matt Potts over at the other end.
Yorkshire 36-1 - target 360
A bright start to the session for Shan Masood, who drives Ben Gibbon through cover off the front foot for four.
Four runs for Adam Lyth off Ben Allison at the other end with a steer between gully and the slip cordon.
Kent 494 v Lancs 327 & 227-6
The Lancashire decline continues as Yuzvendra Chahal strikes with the second ball of his second post-lunch over.
Like George Bell and George Balderson before him, Matty Hurst falls victim to his own impetuosity.
He tries to hoist spinner Chahal over the leg-side but skies a leading-edge catch to Nathan Gilchrist.
Lancashire are 60 ahead as Tom Hartley walks out.
Durham 457-8d v Leics 143 & 102-8
Ben Cox gets a run off the first ball of what is likely to be the final session of the season at Durham with a single to long leg.
Single to Will Davis second ball.
Cox plays and misses outside off but sees out the over.
Leicestershire have gone past their lowest ever total against Durham, which remains 101.
Kent 494 v Lancs 327 & 226-5
Yuzvendra Chahal continues his pre-lunch spell for Kent.
Josh Bohannon tucks him away for a single to move to 10 not out.
Lancashire need a good, solid session here to fend off the prospect of a season-ending defeat.
Notts 384 v Middlesex 366 & 186-5
Time is running out for Middlesex, with just 65 overs left in this game, and they surely need to declare fairly early during this afternoon session.
Josh de Caires is doing his best to hasten that moment, hammering Jake Ball for four in the first over after lunch as Middlesex extend their advantage to 168.
Yorks 26-1 - target 360
Unless something extraordinary happens, you'd bank on a draw here.
Adam Lyth and Yorkshire captain Shan Masood are back in the middle.
Lyth will face Ben Gibbon first up in this session of play.
Durham 457-8d v Leics 143 & 100-8
We might not have much playing time left here.
The hosts need two more wickets to wrap up their seventh Championship win of a superb season, where they have won the division at a canter.
If you're a locally based Durham fan and you're free this afternoon, there'll be a trophy presentation for the Division Two winners after this game.
For now, Ben Cox resumes the batting with Will Davis.
Matt Potts will bowl to Cox.
Kent 494 v Lancs 327 & 226-5
Two sessions to go at the Spitfire Ground.
Things are going Kent's way at the moment as they try to cling onto their Division One status for 2024.
Aron Nijjar will continue the over interrupted by lunch following his dismissal of Steven Croft.
Lancashire are 59 ahead and the new batter is Matty Hurst.
Pace bowler David Payne signs a new three-year contract to stay with Gloucestershire until the end of 2026.

Derbyshire captain Leus du Plooy was in less than generous mood as he set Glamorgan 384 in 70 overs, after the home side’s decision to open the match up with a first innings declaration.
The visitors’ hopes of a first win of the season will depend greatly on spinner Alex Thomson, who opened the bowling, but scoring at 5.7 runs an over from here on may not tempt Glamorgan into a serious chase.
Whether or not we get excitement, there’ve been records for Derbyshire opener Luis Reece, who reached 1,000 first-class runs for the season with his fourth century against Glamorgan, and his seventh successive score of 50-plus.
It was the first time any county player had scored four centuries against the same opposition in a summer, and he joined an elite list of players to have achieved seven successive fifties on two occasions - including the likes of Don Bradman, Walter Hammond and CB Fry.
Kent 494 v Lancashire 327 & 226-5 - lunch

Lancashire lead by 59 at lunch, but have lost five wickets to spin for the addition of just 32 runs.
Luke Wells and Keaton Jennings were largely untroubled as they amassed a monster partnership of 194 for the opening wicket but departed for hugely impressive totals of 117 and 74, both falling to the occasional off-spin of Kent skipper Jack Leaning in consecutive overs.
This game looked like a nailed-on draw until an hour ago, now, less so. If Kent are able to fashion a victory on the final afternoon then Middlesex's result at Trent Bridge becomes irrelevant.

Just a couple of singles off Ben Allison as Yorkshire go into lunch needing another 334 runs to win from 59 overs.
Worcestershire took full advantage of some part-time bowling earlier in the morning with Jake Libby and Jack Haynes helping themselves to centuries in an unbroken stand of 223.
Libby made 109 not out and Haynes 113, the latter playing his final innings for the county.
