If Cameron Green doesn't take at least 20 wickets in the upcoming Ashes series I'll eat a baggy green. You can screenshot this and remind me in July.

He's so, so good and here another beauty beats Rahane all ends up.

We used to call them 'badges of honour' when you get a bruise after being hit in Test cricket in spells like this.

Shardul Thakur has probably got about six of them already!

India dropped Ajinkya Rahane earlier this year. This has been a superb, defiant knock...

Aggers has been ribbing Justin Langer about Ben Stokes' 2019 Headingley knock. "I'd rather run and swim back to Australia than watch that innings ever again," Langer says.

At least the bins of England will be safe.

Wicketkeeper Alex Carey does well to stop a very wayward one from Starc flying down the leg side for four.

Shardul Thakur is playing some of these deliveries like he's getting an electric shock - limbs jolting everywhere.

A reminder you have 15 minutes to pick your combined India-Australia XI.

It has been a marvellous contest from the very beginning.

India started well before Head and Smith took the game away. India then fought back yesterday morning before Australia's bowlers let rip.

It has been a gripping contest, and it's why we love Test cricket.

After yesterday's fella who brought lime to drip over his salad box, snacking standards have gone up another notch. Next to me is a chap with a packet of ham, full loaf (unsliced) and a tub of butter. I might ask him to knock out a sandwich for me.

  9. Ind 215-6published at 50 overs

Shardul Thakur is hit again on the body before getting his one back by clobbering Mitchell Starc through the off side when the left-armer drifts too full.

The next ball flies away off an edge - Thakur looking uncomfortable again.

It's great fun to watch when you're not in the firing line.

This is the fightback that we want to see. India fans will be very happy with this because they have shown some heart, some resilience.

The way Rahane has batted is exceptional. They are nowhere near out of the woods yet but he has given them a glimmer of hope.

An lbw shout, an edge, a glorious cover drive - that over had everything but a wicket.

Fascinating cricket, as it has been for the whole first hour.

Drinks are coming onto the field.

That's better! Glorious through the covers from Rahane.

    The crowd absolutely loves that.

The second ball of Cameron Green's spell hits Ajinkya Rahane on the pad.

Chris Gaffaney says no but Pat Cummins reviewed before his head has stopped shaking.

Pat Cummins was causing all the problems for Shardul Thakur. So he has withstood that, it has been extremely tough, but he has got to concentrate now and stay positive.
