Justin Broad takes two wickets in an over for Northants and Leicestershire are now sinking fast.

    16.5 an over required.

Nah. The crowd are busying themselves with a beach ball. Leics need a cricket ball the size of one to have a chance. And even then...

    Bears 228-4 v Worcs 133-6

The game is well and truly running away from Worcestershire now.

Dan Mousley bowls Ben Cox and then cleans up Usama Mir with his next delivery - he's on a hat-trick.

Ed Pollock denies him a treble but he has 3-31 to go with his earlier half-century and there are just six overs left.

    Glamorgan 123-4 v Sussex 182-6

A big wicket for Glamorgan as bowler Shadab Khan sticks out a right boot and kills the momentum of Cam Fletcher's straight drive.

Unfortunately for Glamorgan, Chris Cooke has backed up too far and Khan is able to pick the ball up and run him out for 13.

Glamorgan will need 60 off the final five overs to win.

  6. dropped catch

Dropped catchpublished at 20:56 British Summer Time 23 June 2023

    Lancashire 153-2 (13 overs) v Derbyshire

George Scrimshaw has found it difficult with the ball and now he has just shelled a catch in the deep at fine leg.

Liam Livingstone launched it into the night sky, it came down with snow on but Scrimshaw put it down.

To make matters worse, he is then moved in the field.

    Oh dear!

He can't believe it and swishes his bat above the missing bails before walking off. Ben Cox replaces him in the middle.

Cam Fletcher tries to pull a rapid delivery from Tymal Mills - it's a top edge but it flies beyond the rope at fine leg for six.

Fletcher has 36 off 27 balls and there are six overs remaining. Chris Cooke has 13 at the other end.

    Lancashire 144-2 v Derbyshire

    Stephen Moore
Former Lancashire opener on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

That's a fantastic catch from Du Plooy.

Derbyshire will be breathing a sigh of relief.

If Jos Buttler had carried on in the mood he was in, goodness know how many they could have got.

For all the spectators who paid their money, that's what you want to see - one of the best batters in the world taking a bowling attack apart.

  12. Postpublished at 20:49 British Summer Time 23 June 2023

    Glamorgan 109-3 v Sussex 182-6

Glamorgan scurry past 100 as Cam Fletcher hammers Ravi Bopara over mid-on for six.

    Leics 74-5 (10 overs) v Northants 210-7

Rehan Ahmed is still there for Leicestershire - 43 from 27 balls.

But the asking rate is 13.7.

Surely way too much to do from here.

  14. wicket

WICKET Buttler c du Plooy b Zaman 83published at 20:48 British Summer Time 23 June 2023

    Lancashire 144-2 v Derbyshire

There will be no century for Jos Buttler!

He tries to launch Zaman Khan down the ground but gets it high rather than far and Derbyshire captain Leus du Plooy gets under to take an excellent steepling catch.

I bet his nerves were jangling as the ball was coming down, knowing who had hit it!

A fine knock from Buttler off 38 balls with six glorious sixes.

  15. Postpublished at 20:47 British Summer Time 23 June 2023

    Bears 228-4 v Worcs 106-3

Jake Lintott's opening over was expensive, costing 16 - but only five runs came from the 11th, bowled by Danny Briggs.

The Rapids need 123 from the 54 balls remaining. A tall order, but Mitchell Santner is 33 not out.

  16. 50 runs

for Will Smeedpublished at 20:47 British Summer Time 23 June 2023

    Somerset 81-4 (9 overs) v Glos 196-8

Sean Dickson has also fallen for Somerset, so they, like Gloucestershire, are being asked to recover from four down early in the piece.

But Will Smeed still chugs this chase along very nicely.

He goes to fifty in 26 balls with four fours and four sixes.

  17. 'Wonderful to watch'published at 20:47 British Summer Time 23 June 2023

    Lancashire 143-1 (11.2 overs) v Derbyshire

    Stephen Moore
Former Lancashire opener on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

It's extraordinary watching two batters of this quality - the power that they hit the ball with, you can feel it 100 metres away.

You can hear the crispness of the strike. It's wonderful to watch.

The crowd are all riled up and Jos Buttler has got them going - if it's not four or six they are disappointed.

  18. 100 runs

    Lancashire 143-1 (11.2 overs) v Derbyshire

Jos Buttler hits a single down the ground and that brings up the 100 between him and Liam Livingstone.

It has been 40 balls of great T20 entertainment.

  19. Postpublished at 20:43 British Summer Time 23 June 2023

    Kent 228-3 v Middlesex 76-4 (10 overs)

Middlesex have got to the halfway mark of their innings. But they have lost too many wickets and not scored quickly enough to have any real chance of reaching this total.

Kent are closing in on six straight wins.

  20. MATCH ABANDONED AT RIVERSIDEpublished at 20:43 British Summer Time 23 June 2023
    Breaking

    Durham v Yorkshire 49-1 (8.1 overs)

A big disappointment as rain prevents Durham from starting a minimum five-over run chase as the game is abandoned as the first T20 no-result of the summer.

Ben Raine had Adam Lyth caught for one in the second over of Yorkshire's innings, after Durham opted to bowl first.

But the weather intervened in the ninth over, with Shan Masood 35 not out, and no further play was possible.

The two sides take a point each. Not a good outcome for either side, but especially Durham, in the race for the quarter-finals.
