That is hoofed away into the crowd for six runs!
It doesn't take long for Ben Stokes to go after the spin of Ravindra.
He goes to the slog sweep from the third ball and wallops it into the stands!

I don't think New Zealand's bowling today has been sharp. Lister didn't have much venom and they need to find some momentum in their bowling.
Thanks, Callum.
It wasn't looking too good at 0-1 and 13-2, but this has been sublime from Stokes and Malan. They've added 121 from 105 balls, and are building England a lovely platform.
New Zealand are turning to the left-arm spin of Rachin Ravidra.
Will it bring them a change of fortune?
Ffion Wynne will talk you through it.
New Zealand are just struggling to get out of overs too often at the moment.
Ben Lister concedes just a leg bye and three singles from the opening five balls before he drops short and Dawid Malan pulls away to the fence.
It's all a little too easy for England at the moment.

It's a good format if you are out of form because you can go slowly before you have to press that button.
Brilliant fielding. Ben Stokes absolutely creams a reverse sweep but Devon Conway does superbly to get something on it and prevent a boundary.
England take six from Glenn Phillips' latest over. A light bit of light relief for New Zealand with no boundaries conceded.

It is Stokes' 26th half-century in ODI cricket, he has three centuries.

England are starting to get things moving, the run rate is creeping up towards seven on a solid surface here. It's allowing Stokes and Malan to play and enjoy themselves.
Lockie Ferguson follows the boundary with a leg-side wide, and Ben Stokes punishes him by sending the extra ball to the mid-wicket fence.
Ferguson has gone for 42 off his four overs so far. He has not bowled well.

That was really cunning, fine leg up, the gap behind him, beautifully played by Ben Stokes and it almost went for six.
Eng 114-2
Ben Stokes joins Dawid Malan in reaching his half-century.
This is clever too as the England Test captain moves outside off-stump and uses the pace of Lockie Ferguson to hook him over short fine leg and away for four.
Stokes' fifty comes up off 43 balls.

That is Malan's ninth score of 50 or more in just 20 ODI innings.

Malan, who had a bit of a question mark at the start of this series, has answered those questions now.
Eng 106-2
Well batted, Dawid Malan.
The left-hander brings up his fifth ODI half-century - he's also got four centuries.
He played a gorgeous drive to the cover boundary earlier in the over, before working off his pads to bring up the landmark off 52 balls. He's leading England's recovery well.
It feels like Ben Stokes is finding some more fluency as he wallops a flick through square to pick up four more.
He moves to leg again and has to stretch to work a single down to deep third for a single.
England will be delighted with their recovery from 13-2. Captains often speak about wanting pressure moments before a World Cup and this situation has been good exposure for England.

Way too slow there from Glenn Phillips, it just hung in the air and someone like Stokes is able to lift his bat up and get it away.
We said earlier that part-time off-spinner Glenn Phillips was a good option with the ball to Ben Stokes and Dawid Malan and here he is.
He starts well, conceding just three singles from the first five balls, but he can't get out of the over.
He goes slow and Ben Stokes just waits for it before slog-sweeping away to the boundary.
