A fairly loose drive from Jonny Bairstow slices off the outside edge but again lands in space, allowing England to run two.

Another better-timed drive looks to bring four but far a fine stop in the field, restricting England to another two runs.

Good response from Matt Henry as he gets one to jag back into Jonny Bairstow and the ball narrowly misses his off stump.

An entertaining first over.

Runs off the first ball but there is a touch of fortune about it as the ball skews off a leading edge and into the air, but it lands safely in a gap in the off-side and England run two.

No luck about this, though. Jonny Bairstow drives the next delivery through the covers and it just has enough power on it to reach the rope.

More good news: the forecast is for dry and sunny weather at Lord's, meaning we should get a while game in without any interruptions.
