A depleted New Zealand bowling attack - shorn of Ben Lister and Tim Southee - are doing well to put the brakes on England here.
Just two runs off Rachin Ravindra's over.
Uncapped Lancashire left-arm spinner Tom Hartley has been added to England's squad for the three-match one-day international series against Ireland.
Hartley, 24, replaces Somerset Craig Overton, who is injured.
The series begins at Headingley on Wednesday.
England's squad for Ireland: Zak Crawley (captain), Rehan Ahmed, Harry Brook, Brydon Carse, Ben Duckett (vice-captain), Sam Hain, Tom Hartley, Will Jacks, Matthew Potts, Phil Salt, George Scrimshaw, Jamie Smith, Luke Wood.

A really good knock. Malan is very familiar with Lord's, playing all of his cricket here up to a few years ago.
The criticism and discussion around his place in the team, surely that is quashed now as it was a fantastic innings.
No-one else has been able to time the ball cleanly on that wicket.
Malan c Latham b Ravindra 127 (Eng 243-5)
Dawid Malan's impressive knock comes to end with a rather subdued dismissal.
The left-hander chases a wide one from Rachin Ravindra and nicks it into the grateful gloves of Tom Latham.
Malan is afforded a generous ovation by the Lord's crowd.
Here's that heave from Dawid Malan from a few moments ago to Rachin Ravindra.
More metronomic med-os from Daryl Mitchell, who continues to bowl smartly.
Mitchell sees Liam Livingstone advancing again and changes his line. His next ball is bouncer and, with Livingstone through the shot, strikes the on the elbow.
The Kiwi's final delivery brings a massive waft from Livingstone, who edges it, but the ball fall short of wicketkeeper Tom Latham.

Can someone please tell me why there is always so much chatter about Malan’s place? He’s been more consistent than any other batter in T20 & ODI over the last couple of years. He is perfect in the batting line up England want to field.

New Zealand have confirmed Ben Lister is off the field with a hamstring injury and is not expected to return.
Matt Henry returns to the attack and Dawid Malan and Liam Livingstone immediately up the ante.
Livingstone throws his hands at a fuller one from Henry which he hits skyward. He did not time but it but gets just enough on it for the ball to cross the rope for a maximum.
Malan follows it up more convincingly with another six two balls later when he heaves Henry over mid-wicket which brings cheers from the Lord's crowd.
Every club side has someone of Daryl Mitchell's ilk. Lines, lengths and difficult for the opposition to get away.
Liam Livingstone walks down the pitch to Mitchell's fourth ball in attempt to open up the off side, but is unable to give himself quite enough room to pierce the field.
Five runs off that over. New Zealand will not mind that.

Here's my England squad/starting XI for the World Cup: Bairstow/Roy, Malan, Root, Stokes, Buttler, Livingstone/Brook, Curran/Ali, Woakes, Rashid, Willey/Topley, Wood.
Sam, Cornwall
No place for Gus Atkinson, Sam?
Rachin Ravindra is back into the attack in place of Kyle Jamieson as New Zealand think pace off is the way to bowl to these two.
With little pace to work with Dawid Malan scoops the spinner over the wicketkeeper's head. Next ball Malan gets down on knee and heaves Ravindra over cow corner and into the stands for a maximum.
He threw the proverbial kitchen sink at that one.

England can definitely get to 300 from here, that's not an issue. But if New Zealand can get another wicket soon then they might stem that flow. But if they don't and Liam Livingstone gets in the groove then another big score is possible.
Daryl Mitchell is chugging into his delivery stride, collar up, nagging away on a length in the manner of all good medium pacers.
Liam Livingstone and Dawid Malan, having seen his dobbers account for Jos Buttler, are a little more circumspect than normal.
Four singles off the over.
Thanks, Jonty.
Dawid Malan has looked a million dollars today hasn't he? All dreamy cuts and delicious square drives.
His ability anchor an innings could be a useful foil the rest of England's strokemakers.
Almost a nervy moment from Liam Livingstone at the end of that over as he almost bottom edges onto his own stumps, with England scoring six in the over.
That's all from me in this stint, I shall hand you over to Timothy Abraham to take you through the end of England's innings.
Here is the moment Dawid Malan bought up his century. He has batted brilliantly, not just today, but in this series as a whole.

That is a big wicket in terms of momentum as England were creeping the run rate up to six and without a wicket they could have accelerated quickly.
Just four runs and a wicket coming off it as England's partnership, which was going very well between Malan and Buttler is broken.
With no Southee out to bowl following a thumb concern, Mitchell's first over gives plenty to cheer in his absence.
Buttler c sub (Boult) b Mitchell 36 (England 195-3)
A breakthrough for the visitors!
Mitchell is into the attack and instantly gets England's captain out, an uppish drive caught easily by substitute Boult at mid-off.
Liam Livingstone comes into bat with more than 15 overs remaining.
Kyle Jamieson back into the attack and England score five from it, nothing via boundaries.
Having dislocated his finger earlier in the innings to take the catch that removed Bairstow, Daryl Mitchell is going to have a bowl.
