I've been praying for some of these young players to along. The mental side of it is tough with so much cricket around. The one thing which is key for the next stage is balance, and making sure you get enough rest.

  2. SL 107-9published at 24 overs

A bit of bluffing from Mahika Gaur as she tinkers with her field, setting up the short ball, only to produce a full straight one to Inoka Ranaweera.

The Sri Lankan gets some bat on it and a thick edge see the ball loop up and roll down into the third region allowing the tourists to scamper a single.

  3. SL 102-9published at 23 overs

Lauren Filer digs in a vicious short delivery which Achini Kulasuriya spoons up in the air, but the ball drops safe with the England seamer unable to get close to it on her follow through.

Filer follows it up with a beamer which, quite rightly, is called a no ball. Filer puts her hand up in a apology.

The youngsters coming in injects excitement into the older girls. The last few games of a summer can drag but having that definitely helps gets. It's only just started to change, we used to be able to name the 15 players who would play every format. But that pool has increased, and there have been some retirements as well.

That was beautifully driven over extra cover! It creamed off the bat for four.

  6. SL 100-9published at 22 overs

Mahika Gaur, who has one wicket, is back into the attack for England. Her third ball is short and Inoka Ranaweera manages to carefully steer it down to flne leg on the back foot.

The final ball of Gaur's over is dispatched to the boundary by Achini Kulasuriya, who strikes a lovely off drive on the up.

Sri Lanka make it to three figures.

Here's how Charlie Dean struck three times in an over to blow away Sri Lanka's middle order.

Chamari Athapaththu scores the vast majority of Sri Lanka's runs - in T20s you can kind of get away with that but in the 50-over game her batting can't paper over all the cracks.

  8. SL 95-9published at 21 overs

Lauren Filer back on point in the remainder of the over as that loosener is followed by five dots.

  9. SL 95-9published at 20.1 overs

Lauren Filer back into the attack as England turn to pace to wrap things up, but her first ball is a loose full toss which is smeared to the boundary by Achini Kulasuriya.

Here's how Charlie Dean managed to bag the final victim in her first international five-wicket haul.

England have been brilliant in how they've come back from that surprise T20 series loss to beat Sri Lanka like this in the ODI series.

    Ranasinghe lbw b Glenn 6 (SL 91-9)

Pitching in line, impact in line and hitting. Anna Harris' on-field looked good and it was.

It was a flighted delivery from Sarah Glenn which skidded on and Oshadi Ranasingh's shot was a little questionable.

One to take for England to wrap up a 2-0 series win.

This feels like a review you use when you've got some to spare.

Oshadi Ranasinghe is struck on the pad, attempting to reverse sweep, by Sarah Glenn.

Given out on the field but Ranasinghe reviews it. More in hope than expectation.

  17. SL 91-8published at 19 overs

The left-handed Achini Kulasuriya is the new batter and she sees out the rest of Charlie Dean's over.

It's the accuracy and the way Charlie Dean just homes in on those stumps that is so tricky for the batters.

    Prabodhani b Dean 2 (Sl 91-8)

    Charlie Dean has five wickets!

The England off-spinner holds the pace of it and Udeshika Prabodhani ends up chopping it on to her stumps attempting to cut it outside off stump.

The last rites for Sri Lanka now.
