  1. SL 90-7published at 18 overs

England are rattling through the overs. Sri Lanka have slowed down to a snail's pace.

Sarah Glenn strikes Udeshika Prabodhani on the pad with her second ball but it's only a half-hearted appeal from the England leg-spinner.

Just a single off Glenn's over.

  2. SL 89-7published at 17 overs

    Target 274

Charlie Dean continues, and that brings cautious play from Udeshika Prabodhani and Oshadi Ranasinghe neither of whom wants to take on the England off-spinner.

And with good reason. Check out Sean's dismissal of the dangerous Hasini Perera from a little while ago below.

Time for a bit of liquid refreshment.

Here's that lovely grab from Charlie Dean to enjoy while we wait for thirsts to be quenched.

  4. SL 86-7published at 16 overs

A useful over from Sarah Glenn as she works through her variations.

Oshadi Ranasinghe and Udeshika Prabodhani are happy to knock it into the gaps and pick up three singles.

  6. SL 83-7published at 15 overs

Stout defence from Udeshika Prabodhani to Charlie Dean's last ball.

The off-spinner has 4-27 from four overs.

Back to Sarah Glenn's leggies now.

Dean gets through the defences of Dilhari, not that those defences were particularly robust.

Dean is absolutely tearing through Sri Lanka here.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.5 overs

    Dilhari b Dean 1 (SL 83-7)

A third in the over for Charlie Dean as she tosses it up, draws Kavisha Dilhari into driving the ball, and bowls the Sri Lankan through the gate.

Amy Jones now has nine catches in the series. No keeper has down that in a three-match ODI series before.

Charlie Dean has another! Perera's enterprising innings comes to an end.

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.3 overs

    Perera c Jones b Dean 32 (SL 82-6)

A little feather from Hasini Perera, who plays at a ball from Charlie Dean away from her body, and edges into the gloves of Amy Jones.

Thanks, Ffion. It's a big ask for Sri Lanka to get anywhere close to England's total here. All about whether their batters fancy playing some shots, or would rather time in the middle.

Charlie Dean made that looks so easy, and it's not easy. To dive full length and claim the catch in the way is hard to do.

  14. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.1 overs

    Karunaratne c & b Dean 15 (SL 81-5)

    Charlie Dean strikes again!

Karunaratne chips one back towards her, and the spinner takes a smart tumbling catch in her follow-through.

It breaks a handy little partnership for Sri Lanka.

And on that note, it's time for me to hand over to Timothy Abraham to steer you through the end of this encounter.

  15. SL 81-4published at 14 overs

    Target 274

Sarah Glenn has a big lbw appeal on Karunaratne, but opts against a review as it was probably going down leg.

But Hasini Perera spoils a good over by launching the last ball down the ground for four, as she moves to 32 from 23 balls.

Charlie Dean is brilliant when she's able to settle into a spell, get some rhythm. She will bowl you 10 overs for 30. But if the batters go after her then her mind gets a bit scrambled and she tries to force things.

  17. SL 76-4published at 13 overs

A good response from Dean, who concedes just five from her third over.

A steady little partnership is building between Karunaratne and Perera, despite the result feeling rather inevitable.

Charlie Dean has been a bit expensive, but chipped in with the big wicket of Chamari Athapaththu.

  19. SL 71-4published at 12 overs

    Target 274

A tidy over from Sarah Glenn goes for just five, as England continue to squeeze and rattle through their overs quickly.

It's actually a decent run rate for Sri Lanka but it's the four wickets down which is the problem. They don't have a strong middle order. I think it's a case of see what they can get and where they end up now.
