This has been a good period for the Dutch. If you don't have a mystery bowling or there's no assistance in the wicket, all you can really do is execute extremely well and ask the batter to do something they don't want to do. They are doing that pretty well at the moment.

New Zealand have really looked to kick things on since Daryl Mitchell came in.

The Netherlands haven't bowled badly at all but they could do with taking another couple of wickets quickly otherwise the Black Caps could be on for a big total.

At the 30 over mark, New Zealand sit 171-2.

A good scoring spell for them, with 69 runs coming off the last 10 overs.

That is brilliant from Mitchell, executing a fine scoop brilliantly which races away to the boundary.

He is really starting to play some shots and you feel these two could build an explosive partnership very quickly.

After a couple of tidy overs, Van Meekeren will be frustrated after being hit for 13 there, gifting Mitchell a chance to really get himself in.

Paul van Meekeren is so furious with himself because getting something like a free hit so early in an innings could really get Daryl Mitchell going.

Van Meekeren will be feeling deflated.

The alarm sounds and for the first time today, there is a free hit as Van Meekeren bowls a no ball.

Daryl Mitchell could not be more grateful and with a flat bat, swats it with power into the crowd for six.

A first boundary for a couple of overs is scored by Mitchell, his first of the innings, playing a check drive back over Van Meekeren and over the rope for four.

You cannot keep this New Zealand side down for too long.

Klein's return to the attack is a pleasing one, with New Zealand limited to just three runs off the over.

Daryl Mitchell is trying to show an intent to run quick singles and twos, but New Zealand are struggling at times to find the gaps with their shots.

Having just had the second wicket, here is a look at the first, with Van der Merwe removing Devon Conway.

That will do Netherlands all sorts of good. One wicket and just three runs come from Van Meekeren's over.

There is almost a run out off the final delivery of the over, Mitchell's attempt to run a quick single almost see him getting run out by the mid-on fielder, but he makes it home.

Young was just trying to get on with things there. It was back of a length from Van Meekeren, Young was looking to go down the ground but it went straight up in the air.
