That 50 for Pakistan is greeted by silence.
A single for Imam-ul-Haq takes Pakistan to 50.
It is met with exactly the response you're imagining from the India supporters.

JamBarrell: I bet if India went to their 'death bowling' now it would stem the flow and get wickets.

When will we see some spin? I hope soon.
Mohammed Siraj was expensive in his first couple of overs but he's come back well and ends the powerplay with a good one.
Just a single from it. But Pakistan will still be just the happier after 10 overs, you'd think.

One of the concerns for both teams will have been the dew factor - it is just when and how much. If it comes around 20:30 it will affect the last 20 overs of the game.

This is one of the biggest matches in cricket and there should be a fantastic atmosphere. The silence greeting Pakistan's boundaries is bad for the game and makes an absolute mockery of any suggestion this game brings people together!

Four to end the over.
Too straight from Hardik Pandya and Babar Azam flicks it down to fine leg, beating the fielder who is set pretty wide.
One over left in the powerplay.

Pakistan to set a world record chase. Kohli century in chase but not enough for the win.
Deej in Stockport
Babar Azam is the new batter but he'll be at the non-striker's end as Hardik Pandya comes into the attack for India.
We've just seen the ball-tracking of that Abdullah Shafique wicket and it was very out. Hitting halfway up middle.

That looked plumb. It may have kept a little low. You have to give the batter that.
That is against the run of play somewhat.
Deep Dasgupta
Former India wicketkeeper on BBC Test Match Special
It is plumb in front. It skidded through and didn't bounce much. It was shin height.
Shafique was looking dangerous. He was playing beautifully again.
Siraj has looked off colour in the past colour of games. He hasn't looked himself despite the fact he's been brilliant in every format in the past year or so.
Shafique lbw b Siraj 20 (Pak 41-1)
Breakthrough for India! That is plumb.
Abdullah Shafique was playing so well but this one from Mohammed Siraj stayed a little bit low and once the batter missed it, he was in trouble.
That was adjacent. No thought of a review from Shafique as the Ahmedabad crowd goes berserk!

Do you think Indian fans would rather beat Pakistan but lose the World Cup final or lose to Pakistan but win the World Cup?

Pakistan are scoring at a good clip here.
Four more to end the over as Imam-ul-Haq clips the ball off his hip.
The fielder comes charging round the boundary, dives but cannot prevent it reaching the boundary sponge at fine leg.
Pakistan are going very nicely.

This is excellent from Pakistan. Rohit Sharma does not look happy.
Shot!
That is beautiful from Abdullah Shafique! He shuffles down and plays a superb checked drive, up and over mid-on for four.
He stands and holds the pose to make absolutely sure the photographers get a snap of that one.
Shafique 13, Imam 14
Steady over all round with Pakistan taking five from it.
Good running allows Adbullah Shafique to get two out to deep backward square first ball but Mohammed Siraj keeps them to singles from then on.
India will be pleased to have stemmed the flow of boundaries.
Waqar Younis
Former Pakistan fast bowler on Test Match Special
It has been a pretty decent start from Pakistan.
The stadium looks stunning too. There are a few empty seats at the moment but I'm sure they will get filled.
