You can say that but there was a lot of top-edge about it. As a bowler I'd give him another one.

What a shot!
Shot!
Gerald Coetzee bowls one short and Sybrand Engelbrecht goes for the pull, with the ball flying off a top-edge and over fine leg for the first six of the match.
That was quite the start to my commentary stint.
New batter Teja Nidamanuru joins Sybrand Engelbrecht in the middle with the Netherlands in a bit of a hole.

That is great partnership bowling. Coetzee has got the wicket but Rabada has built all the pressure with the dots.
The Dutch are struggling at 50-4.

This bails and stumps are all over the place. He's been rewarded for some aggressive bowling.
Ackermann b Coetzee 12 (Ned 50-4)
Yes they can! Colin Ackermann chopped on!
It is a teasing line and length outside off stump that lures Ackermann into attempting the cut, but he has not got enough room and can only send a thick inside edge into his stumps.

Kagiso Rabada has found something today, he is hitting a magnificent length.
Another maiden for Rabada, eleven dots in a row for South Africa as they build some pressure on this Dutch pair.
Can they make a breakthrough? Here's Tom Mallows to find out.
Engelbrecht brings up the Dutch half century with a single into point.
Coetzee then sends down five dot balls to Colin Ackermann. The 23-year-old seamer is back in the side today in place of spinner Tabraiz Shamsi.
Ah, that's a nice shot from Sybrand Engelbrecht, picking Rabada's slower ball and helping it on its way to the boundary.
The batter is playing in only his second ODI after making his debut against New Zealand.
Gerald Coetzee is a formidable challenge when he gets his line right.
Engelbrecht almost gloves a ball in the mid-80s, before edging the next delivery just short of slip.
Five dot balls after those first two wides. Marco Jansen started the same way today and has bowled well subsequently.

Gerald Coetzee has done a Harmison. You don't see many of those in international cricket.
Eeesh, a wild start from Gerald Coetzee.
An opening wide is followed by an even wider one - it's nowhere near new batter Sybrand Engelbrecht and is taken calmly by Heinrich Klaasen at slip.
We finally get a legitimate delivery that's defended by the Dutch batter.
De Leede lbw b Rabada 2 (Ned 40-3)
Three reds on ball tracking - De Leede has to go!
That looked rather out, I'm surprised it wasn't given on the field. The question would have been height perhaps, but tracking suggests the ball would have struck halfway up middle.
Prior to that delivery it had been a decent over for the Netherlands - a wide from Rabada to start with, followed by Ackermann picking up two through point and pulling the following delivery for four. A single into mid-wicket brought De Leede on strike and then...

I don't think Bas de Leede is going to get away with this one. It is an incredible delivery from Kagiso Rabada.
De Leede is struck in front by Rabada!
Richard Kettlebrough isn't interested but South Africa are - we'll go upstairs.
A wide from Jansen - four of the 13 runs he's conceded have come from straying down the leg side.
Ackermann runs a leg bye off his thigh pad.
A single from Rabada's over, Ackermann working one to fine leg.
With the match cut to 43 overs a side, this Dutch pair don't have as much time to build a platform.
Bas de Leede joins Colin Ackermann at the crease - they'll be domestic and international teammates next season, with Ackermann moving to Durham from Leicestershire.
The Division Two champions are coached by former Netherlands captain Ryan Campbell, who's on our commentary team today.
Like Ackermann before him, De Leede gets an opening ball single down to third.
