Lovely, delicate dab from Dhanajaya de Silva.
He uses the pace from Mehidy Hasan Miraz and guides the ball down to the deep third boundary.
With debate still raging over that Angelo Mathews dismissal, we need a calm head on the live text so it is time for Tom Mallows to take over.

A high-class shot from Asalanka.
Gorgeous shot from Charith Asalanka.
Taskin Ahmed overpitches and Asalanka drives the ball back past him for four.

Sri Lanka are in trouble now. They are all over the place.
Issues on the board and they are now showing on field.

The important thing to remember here is that there is a difference between playing conditions and laws.
There laws of cricket say that the batter has to be ready to face the next ball within three minutes of dismissal or retirement. In the World Cup it is two minutes, there is a difference.
Now Mathews probably took more than three minutes. But there was no need to be wearing a helmet at that moment anyway, he was only going to face Shakib Al Hasan.
Any cricketer who plays in the England, the batter has to wear a helmet. It is not the case at the World Cup.
Events on the field seem like something of a side show at the moment.
The Angelo Mathews wicket is still at the forefront of everyone's minds.
Not bat but glove on it from Charith Asalanka.
He missed with his attempted sweep but the ball thudded onto his glove.
It didn't actually hit the pad at any stage. Not out.

My instinct said it hasn't turned. Umpire is confident, batter is confident.
Big appeal for lbw against Charith Asalanka from Mehidy Hasan Miraz and the umpire quickly raises his finger.
The review from Asalanka was even quicker. He must think he's hit it.

That's an answer to a pub quiz in a few years time.

Face a couple of balls with the chin strap down, it doesn't make a difference. It's spin. This is ridiculous.
It's still not entirely clear what happened with Angelo Mathews and his helmet.
He was out in the middle in plenty of time but then had an issue with his helmet - which he didn't need to wear facing the spinner - and sorting it took long enough that Bangladesh appealed.
Shakib Al Hasan comes back well after that six first ball.
Just a further three singles from the over.
Sri Lanka are fired up and Charith Asalanka is taking his frustrations out on the Bangladesh bowling.
The left-hander skips down and launches the ball over long off for six!

Mathew could have just batted bare headed, whilst he sorted his helmet out.
You don't have to wear a helmet.
Another over goes by with Dhananjaya de Silva, the new batter- who was at the crease and ready to face very promptly! - taking a single apiece from it.
It's gone a bit quiet on the pitch, plenty of discussions are taking place off it.

Two minutes is a long time to find another helmet. I am curious to see if that was the problem. The teams are starting to get fiery.
There is a confused hum around the ground at the moment.
We're going to have plenty of spirit of cricket chats, I'm sure. They're always fun...

Mathews heads back into the changing room, he doesn't look happy.
