I can completely understand why they have reviewed this. It depends whether it hits him on the inside of the pad.

There's no bat. Is it going to slide past the leg stump?

Huge appeal for lbw by Mehidy Hasan Miraz. He was basically off celebrating.

    The umpire says no.

Shakib Al Hasan sends it upstairs immediately.

Asalanka, biceps are relatively meaty. He may or may not wear a size down to accentuate his bicep. Even if he did, I'm not sure it will help.

More control from Shakib Al Hasan as he's able to limit Sri Lanka to three singles.

At the toss Kusal Mendis spoke about this being a 300-plus pitch. You would think this current partnership would need to be go big for Sri Lanka to get near that.

Bangladesh's spin attack is phenomenal! It will be interesting if they will continue with the four spinners today.

This game is swinging one way and then the other. Bangladesh were on top after those two wickets - and still are - but we're getting a reminder of how good this wicket is.

Sadeera Samarawickrama picks up back-to-back boundaries, first of all with a glorious drive over the covers, and then four down to fine leg.

I would like to see what bat he's using. That ball went a very long way, for minimal effort.

Wow. Another superb shot from Charith Asalanka.

The left-hander takes Shakib Al Hasan over long-off this time.

He's a very talented player but has had a quiet tournament. Is today his day?

It's a scrap at the bottom of the table, which England are involved in. England really need Sri Lanka to win this game.

  11. SL 87-3published at 16 overs

A return to spin for Bangladesh as Mehidy Hasan Miraz comes into the attack for the first time today.

With Sri Lanka having to rebuild they are happy to just milk him for three singles.

    What a beauty.

Asalanka read the slower ball straight away and pumped it a long way into the stands.

That was a real shot of authority.

Smashed by Asalanka. That has gone a long way!

It was a slower ball and he's waited on it nicely.

    Ufff! Shot!

A superb pick up from Charith Asalanka as he plonks Tanzim Hasan over wide long-on for his first six.

A serious shot to lead us to drinks.

And here's how Pathum Nissanka found himself trudging back to the dressing down.

Bangladesh and Shakib Al Hasan are seeking wickets. They know a win today gives them an outside chance of finishing in the top seven and qualifying for the Champions Trophy in Pakistan in 2025.

Shakib calls for Shoriful Islam to return, and he's round the wicket targeting the stumps of the right-handed Sadeera Samarawickrama. Four from the over, particularly due to some very good fielding at long-on.

Sri Lanka are under a bit of pressure here with three of their best batters back in the dugout.

Conditions still offering a little bit of assistance for the seam bowlers.

Oh! A beauty first up from Tanzim Hasan to Charith Asalanka.

He gets one to slide past the left-hander, who has a tentative prod at it.

    Lovely bowling.

Huge moment for Tanzim as he takes his first World Cup wicket.

Wicket to wicket bowling and it pays off for him eventually.
