Just a single from Sophie Ecclestone's latest - her 11th of the day so far - as she keeps Yastika Bhatia in check.

Time for one more over before tea. Lauren Filer will bowl it.

There’s no point England getting too despondent about the runs on the board. It’s a good pitch, and they’ve got aggressive players who can make the most of it when they bat.

The danger will come if they don’t follow India’s lead and bat with real positivity.

  4. Ind 259-4published at 54 overs

Another bowling change but the runs keep coming.

Lauren Filer angles the ball across Yastika Bhatia, the left-hander throw the bat at it and the ball goes off a thick outside edge, over gully for four.

Can't say I remember Xchange, Jar, but it definitely counts. Great effort to get on twice!

Meanwhile, Charlie Dean's spell ends at seven overs and Sophie Ecclestone is back as they approach the tea break in Mumbai.

Just a single from the first five balls before Yastika Bhatia eases the last through the covers for four. Well timed nice again.

Don’t know if this counts, but was successful on being on Xchange on CBBC… twice!

On the No Balls podcast this week, Kate Cross mentioned how difficult it had been training with the humidity in Mumbai. As well as the physical effects, the dampness makes the ball soft, hands sweaty, and therefore favours the batters.

So this stage of the game, with India well-placed and England's bowlers getting into second or third spells, is going to be a big challenge.

  8. Ind 248-4published at 52 overs

Yastika Bhatia has timed the ball very well in this innings and provides another example here.

The ball is angled across her by Kate Cross and Yastika effortlessly punches it through the off side for her fifth boundary of the day.

A no-ball extends Cross' over but the extra delivery is pushed to mid-wicket for no run.

Charlie Dean has looked the most likely bowler to break this stand and nearly does so again.

It's a length delivery that skids on and nearly catches Yastika Bhatia out as she plays back.

The left-hander gets the bat down just in time and quickly puts it behind her as she sweeps the next ball behind square for four.

Width from Kate Cross and Harmanpreet Kaur isn't going to miss out.

The India skipper slaps the ball away through point to the boundary.

This partnership is up to 48.

  11. Ind 232-4published at 49 overs

Should that have been another chance?

Harmanpreet Kaur sweeps Charlie Dean and the ball hangs in the air as it heads out towards deep mid-wicket.

Sophia Dunkley is out there but decides against going for the catch. It wouldn't have been easy but surely it was worth a go?

There is quite the conversation going on around me as various members of our team discuss TV shows that they applied to go on in years gone by.

It's quite hard to keep up while also trying to concentrate on a Test match but so far I've heard mention of Bamzooki, Raven and apparently someone even won on Supermarket Sweep.

(The Dale Winton years. That part was made very clear.)

Have you ever applied, successfully or otherwise, to be on a TV show? Get in touch and let us know!

Kate Cross is back into the attack and it is a solid over from the England seamer.

Just two from it. Charlie Dean will continue from the other end.

  14. Ind 228-4published at 47 overs

Charlie Dean gave Lauren Bell a pat on the back at the end of the over.

I can think of many a bowler who would not have reacted so well to a drop like that.

The bad news: that was an inexplicable drop, and you have to take those chances.

The good news: Charlie Dean is bowling with drift and turn, and more opportunities will come.

You’re still thinking about the bad news, aren’t you?

    Ind 228-4

Oh dear. Lauren Bell has dropped a dolly at mid-on.

Charlie Dean does Yastika Bhatia in the flight as the left-hander sweeps.

The ball balloons off the top-edge and it looks to be a very simple catch for Bell but she takes her eye off the ball as she runs in to take it and the ball pops out.

A moment to forget for the England bowler.

    Harmanpreet 25, Yastika 15

    Top shot!

Yastika Bhatia surprises everyone by swatting the ball over the leg side for four to end Nat Sciver-Brunt's over.

    That came out of nowhere.

  18. Ind 221-4published at 44 overs

More signs that Harmanpreet Kaur is starting to feel comfortable at the crease as she skips down and lofts Charlie Dean over wide long on.

A couple of bounces and the ball is over the rope for four.

Ffion mentioned it earlier but you do feel that Harmanpreet is the key to which side has the upper hand at the end of this India innings.

Australia's Steve Smith has been dismissed on 31 in the first Test against Pakistan in Perth after an absolute peach of a delivery from Khurram Shahzad.

David Warner remains at the crease on 129 not out and is closing in on moving above Matthew Hayden and Michael Clarke on Australia's all-time leading Test run-scorers list.

You can listen to full commentary from that Test match on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra and on the BBC Sport Website.

  20. Ind 216-4published at 44 overs

An attempted bouncer from Nat Sciver-Brunt sits up nicely for Harmanpreet Kaur and the India captain thumps it away for four on the pull.

England had an opening when Jemimah Rodrigues was dismissed but India have settled again with this partnership.
