Tammy Beaumont has red dirt all of the front of her shirt from where she has taken a dive. That may even be from her run-out which kick-started England's collapse. That feels a long time ago now.

Sharma ends with brilliant figures of 5-7

Sophie Ecclestone is getting grumpier and grumpier with these footholes and being hit for back-to-back boundaries by Harmanpreet Kaur is not helping her mood.
Kaur is so good to watch. All class.

Only Number 7 that matters - King Kenny Dalglish, no more to be said.

And now Vastrakar fancies herself! She thumps Charlie Dean back over her head. Sophia Dunkley was spinning for cover there at silly point.
It must be tough in this situation as a fielding team. They know they're already facing the impossible but it's a slow death.

Pooja Vastrakar gets off the mark at the 18th attempt by cutting Sophie Ecclestone for four. That was too short.
Ecclestone does the classic bowler's thing of turning and kicking at the footholes. Their fault.
The difficulty with this pitch is not that every ball turns square but that some spin and others go straight on. The best way to concur that, I imagine, is to get right to the pitch of the ball which is what Harmanpreet Kaur has done well.

Harmanpreet Kaur looks like she's simply after some time in the middle. India do have another Test against Australia next week.
She calmly pushes at Sophie Ecclestone's over, making the rest wonder what all of the fuss has been about on this pitch.
Kaur 10, Vastrakar 0
That's one for our cricket desk's resident baseball nerd Jack Skelton. He'll be thrilled with the suggestion.
No joy for Charlie Dean in her latest over.

Mickey Mantle wore 7, still holds many baseball records and won 7 World Series for the Yankees.

Harmanpreet Kaur continues serenely despite the tumble of wickets around her. We've had 19 fall today compared to seven on day one.

Argh. The hat-trick ball is fired down the leg side.
Charlie Dean needs one more wicket for her first five-wicket haul in Tests.
Pooja Vastrakar will face the hat-trick ball.
"Come on, Deano," is the shout from Amy Jones behind the stumps...
Rana b Dean 0 (Ind 133-6)
Bowled first ball by a beauty! Charlie Dean is on a hat-trick.
Sneh Rana has emerged. It's safe to assume Shubha Satheesh will not be batting today.
Deepti lbw b Dean 20 (Ind 133-5)
And by close I mean very, very out. Off-spinner Charlie Dean has her third wicket and Deepti Sharma has to trudge off for the second time today. She missed her sweep shot and in the end was plumb in front.
This looks close.
Deepti Sharma sweeps once and gets four. She repeats the shot but is hit on the pad.
Amy Jones seems to signal it's going down to miss leg but England review.

Now that match would have been fun to live text on.
India press on as Lauren Filer fails to find any real life from this pitch. It is not really her surface.

17 wickets in one day is a record for women’s Test cricket, but has nothing on the men’s record.
27 (TWENTY SEVEN) fell on the second day of the 1888 Lord’s Test between England and Australia. Tough pitch.

There's an hour to go in the day. I don't think there's any chance of India declaring.
