Following Pope’s performance from behind enemy lines at The Gabba in Brisbane. Not sure what’s more enjoyable, Pope’s batting or Aussie wickets falling. Don’t think they’ve noticed we’re imposters yet!

I'm feeling more optimistic about England's chances after that ball to Hartley than before it.

    It has rolled.

Hartley gets a ball that will send a shiver through Indian spines. Absolute grubber! Will England’s spinners will be consistent enough? Is Leach able to bowl?

Tom Hartley is bowled by one that keeps very low! Yes, it's a blow but we're at the stage where England won't mind seeing that.

That's a fine effort from Hartley.

This is comfortably England's longest second innings in the Bazball era, the first time they have made it to 100 overs. The previous longest was 81.5 in the previous match, the final Ashes Test at The Oval.

    This is wild, honestly.

Ollie Pope has just creamed the most casual of cover drives off Axar Patel to the boundary to near silence.

Axar stands halfway down the pitch scratching his balding head.

3 months in and this is my first ‘opportunity’ to be up during the night for an England test. Probably the part of parenting I’ve been most looking forward to. Never been so happy to be changing nappies in the dead of night.

I'm also part of the baby/no sleep club and very grateful to Pope for keeping the test going for another night. What an unbelievable innings! Wouldn't be surprised if he hits us with the Kevin Sinclair celebration for the 200!

Siraj has gone into white-ball mode with a cross-seam yorker to Tom Hartley.

The TV cameras are picking out every glum-looking India fan in the crowd. There are plenty to choose from.

This is remarkable. England's number nine Tom Hartley is the latest to sweep Ravichandran Ashwin and he does so to the success of another boundary.

As I type West Indies quick Shamar Joseph dismisses Alex Carey.

Australia are bang in trouble at 145-6 and England lead by a Richie.

Just landed in Bangkok and surprised to see England still batting. Can I get to the hotel to see Ollie Pope’s 200?

If you're up, you cannot turn off now.

Yes, their inexperienced spinners are still going to have to bowl well, India's powerful batting line-up could knock off these runs, but England have the chance of something very, very special.
