Lovely man, Joel Wilson. But he must be the most reviewed umpire on the circuit.

There is a whole album of songs to be written about England, Joel Wilson and DRS.
The third umpire agrees.
That sinking feeling will have just returned to Joe Root's stomach.
The crowd think there's an inside edge. There's a mess of squiggles and spikes.
It looks like a deflection...
Has Rohit hit this? It's close...
BIG!
Rohit Sharma is given out lbw to James Anderson.
He reviews because he has to.

I think that drop will be what we may be talking about later in the game...
Oh how big could this be?
Rohit tries again with that slog sweep, gets an edge and Joe Root puts down a catch as he falls to his left at slip.
Root wouldn't have been expecting it from that shot. Hartley has his hands on his head.
Rohit Sharma is going to take the Bazball approach to this mini-crisis.
When Tom Hartley drops too short he cuts to the fence and on the next delivery - a ball that was pretty much on the money - the India skipper hoicks a slog sweep over mid-wicket for four more.
England are quickly ready to go again...

Proper spin and uneven bounce for Hartley in the first hour. Is it due to early match moisture?

Come on England get a move on, I've got to leave for work at 6.

Rohit 19, Jadeja 3
I've just been looking at the stats and Ravindra Jadeja has played 94 of his 102 Test innings at number six or below. Now he's at five against a flying Mark Wood with two debutants to follow.
This is not Sehwag, Dravid, Tendulkar, Ganguly and Laxman. England must really fancy it.
They could hardly be happier at the first drinks break.
Stephan Shemilt

When was the last time India would have had a batting line-up this green? This series is the first time in 25 years they have played a Test without at least one of Kohli, Rahane, Tendulkar or Dravid.
Rohit 18, Jadeja 0
So, so close to another for England as left-arm spinner Tom Hartley finds enough turn to beat Rohit Sharma's outside edge. The India captain could easily have nicked that.
Hartley's worst ball so far took the wicket. This is a maiden.
Mark Wood's boots might require a fire safety warning here because he's really charging in.
Great stuff.

Rohit gets a grilling from Wood. What a start by England.
Mark Wood crashes one into Rohit Sharma's grille...
"Ya alreet?" Wood asks. Rohit's Geordie is good enough as he responds with a nod.
The short stuff isn't going to stop now.
India have promoted Ravindra Jadeja to number five to try to sort out this nonsense. We know he can play but that's high for someone who has batted eight not too long ago.
Rohit looks like he wants to thump someone at the non-striker's end.
