Ellie Robinson - who won gold last night - proves she's not going to be one-race wonder in the pool.

The 15-year-old - with her family cheering her on - made the final of the S6 50m freestyle in a personal best time. Ellie Simmonds qualified, too.

Robinson's family are in Rio in numbers. Even Great Aunt Patricia is here. She told me last night she was over the moon with Ellie's gold. She might be celebrating medal number two.

Great Britain's Alice Tai - at her first Paralympics - makes the final of the S10 100m backstroke. Gold will be a tall order for her though as she has to pass favourite Sophie Pascoe.

The New Zealand swimmer is over two seconds faster.

Any hope? BBC summariser Graham Edmunds spies Pascoe grimacing after her heat and declining any interviews - did she do too much in the heats? She didn't look happy, that's for sure.

After winning triathlon PT2 gold, Britain's Andy Lewis says he is struggling to take it all in.

In fact, he says it may sink in if he sinks a few later.

"I'm just shocked, I can't believe it," he tells Channel 4.

"It hasn't sunk in. Maybe if I have my first beer in two years tonight it will sink in."

That beer is going to taste gooooooood.

    GB women v Germany

Great Britain's women face the toughest possible test at the Rio Olympic Arena in the third game of the wheelchair basketball tournament.

They face the defending Paralympic and European champions Germany who thrashed Brazil 77-32 in their opener.

With one win and and one defeat so far for Paralympics GB, this is a great chance to show what they are capable of.

Andy Lewis lifts the winning tape high above his head on the Copacabana course. He is now the European, World and Paralympic champion.

What a run by the Briton who trailed Italy's Ferrarin throughout the swim and bike elements.

But once they got out on the 5km run there was only going to be one winner and the Briton, who had a motorbike accident when he was 16, which resulted in his leg being amputated above the knee, was victorious.

Lewis is a very proud Briton - his prosthetic is adorned with red, white and blue and I think you will struggle to find a happier man in Rio today.

Chris Skelley (-100kg) will take on Brazilian legend Antonio Tenorio.

And at the end of the PT2 bike element, Andy Lewis is now in third place and hoping to claim a medal - he is the world and European champion.

Unfortunately George Peasgood is slipping out of contention - the run is his weakest element and with one lap still to go, he is down in fifth.
