Thanks Bevo, and good afternoon to one and all!

So then, nine hours into our live text offering and the best confirmed deal we can offer you is Kurt Zouma's £12m move to Chelsea?

Come on now. The footballing world must do better! You demand it, I demand it, the hordes of players and agents after a move demand it!

But fear not. For we are fast approaching the golden hours, those last few hours before the window shuts for good on another season. What we like to call 'the panic buy window.'

    Wayne HennesseyImage source, PA

Here is Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey explaining why the club accepted an offer of around £3m from Crystal Palace for Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

Moxey said: "With Wayne this season, it was a similar situation to other players in the past such as Joleon Lescott whereby if we received an acceptable offer from a Premier League club we were not going to stand in his way.

"It was a case of once again proving his fitness, as he did with Yeovil, and then when the bid came in, reaching agreement with Crystal Palace.

"We are fortunate to have some excellent goalkeepers here at Wolves, with Carl Ikeme and Aaron McCarey as the senior men and some more good young goalkeepers in behind."

A few weeks ago, Barcelona announced that they were going to spruce up the Nou Camp and Real Madrid have now followed suit, revealing plans to bring the Bernabeu into the 21st Century - maybe the 22nd - with a very bold futuristic design which brings the 1987 film Robocop to mind.
