Harry Weiss:, external Dortmund are showing they believe they can do it, and Chelsea are not, and that's the difference between the two comebacks.

Conor O'Boyle:, external Real seem to be in danger, but all they need is a goal, then Dortmund need 5.

Ryan Kerr:, external Carlo Ancelotti has nerves of steel keeping Ronaldo on bench. I'd stick him on. A Madrid goal would kill it.

Chelsea are pouring forward now - their centre-backs are almost playing as midfielders as they launch raid after raid and Fernando Torres jinks into the area but is stopped in his tracks by Alex.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:23 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Here he comes. Fernando Torres is on for Oscar with 10 minutes left. Kitchen sink time.

As good as Borussia Dortmund have been, just one goal for Real Madrid would end their hopes of progressing and Karim Benzema forces a good, diving save out of Roman Weidenfeller. It is not over yet, though, as we enter the last 10 minutes...

"The entire PSG bench were on their feet waiting for Edinson Cavani to equalise - only to all turn away in anguish when he missed that great chance."

Was that the chance? PSG almost unlock the Chelsea defence when Yohan Cabaye's angled ball picks out Edinson Cavani. Great control but then the £55m striker blazes over the bar. A massive moment in the match.

"I'm worried that PSG are starting to sit back and are inviting pressure from Chelsea, the issue with that is they can't keep the ball and it's beginning to look promising for Chelsea."

  11. Championship updatepublished at 21:18 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Nottingham Forest looked certainties for the play-offs a couple of months ago, but have imploded since, and look set to extend their winless run to 11 matches as they trail 3-1 at home to Sheffield Wednesday.

The promotion party has fallen flat tonight just down the M1 at Leicester, 3-0 down at home to Brighton, who look set to move to within two points of a play-off place as things stand.

Massimo Cellino's start to life as the owner of Leeds United is not going too well, as they are losing 3-0 at Watford, for whom Troy Deeney has just scored his 22nd goal of the season.

At the top, it's as you were: Burnley lead 1-0 at Barnsley, QPR are 2-0 down at Blackburn, Derby are 3-1 up at Blackpool.

Graham Thirkill:, external Dortmund on the brink of another great Champions League comeback. Who would bet against them to "reach the promised land"?

Max Welford:, external Dortmund is perfectly demonstrating the superiority of passion and team spirit to a bunch of £30m trophy players. Class.

Suheil Patel:, external Wave after wave of attack on Madrid goal.. Can't believe Dortmund has outplayed Madrid. Ronaldo to come & settle the tie?

PSG's Edinson Cavani has had a very quiet night in the lone striker's role, which will certainly give Gary Cahill plenty of confidence when the pair next meet in the World Cup. Fifteen minutes to go and both of our ties are still in the balance.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:16 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Javier Pastore, the man who scored the goal which now separates these two teams, is introduced to the action in place of Ezequiel Lavezzi.

  16. CLOSE!published at 21:14 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Dortmund are inching ever closer to completing what would be a remarkable comeback! Henrikh Mkhitaryaan is again the man the chance falls to but his low shot from the middle of the box is straight at Iker Casillas. How the home fans probably wished that was Robert Lewandowski who had the ball.

  17. Postpublished at 21:14 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

As Chelsea sense the need to commit more men forward, PSG are having slightly more joy in the final third as Edinson Cavani fires over on the angle. Risk and reward time for the Blues.

  18. CLOSE!published at 21:11 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Demba Ba's impact is instant as the Chelsea striker gets up well to flick on a high ball in the direction of Andre Schurrle and the German's shot is on target but doesn't truly trouble Salvatore Sirigu.

  19. CLOSE!published at 21:10 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Dortmund might just do this, you know. All the momentum is with them and Henrikh Mkhitaryan brings another save out of Iker Casillas with a low shot.

  20. Postpublished at 21:09 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Chief football writer Phil McNulty at Stamford Bridge

"Chelsea's sense of urgency visibly increasing here. No need to chase it yet but all eyes firmly on the clock. Interesting that Demba Ba is the man chosen to add extra threat rather than Fernando Torres."
