Tactics expert Michael Cox speaking on BBC Radio 5 live:

"It's been an intriguing game, a strangely poor performance from Chelsea so far - no real passing or flow to their game. There is no real urgency from Chelsea, they have sat very deep and they are quite lucky to be 1-0 up at this point.

"The golden rule for PSG should be to never let the ball bounce and Andre Schurrle's finish was fantastic as a result. We spoke about Edinson Cavani before the game how he was playing in his favoured role and the same can be said of Schurrle - he is probably Chelsea's main bright spark during this game and now has a great chance after Eden Hazard's injury."

No shots on goal for Paris St-Germain? Their lack of adventure is playing into Chelsea's hands. The comeback is very much on.

    Chelsea 1-0 PSG (Agg: 2-3)
  3. Championship updatepublished at 20:37 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Burnley - second in the Championship - are moving ever closer to the Premier League as they lead third-from-bottom Barnsley 1-0 at the break thanks to Ashley Barnes's seventh-minute goal. There's full commentary from Oakwell available on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra.

Fourth-placed Derby are 3-1 up at Blackpool in the night's only 20:00 BST kick-off. QPR, who started the night in third, are 1-0 down at Blackburn.

Millwall, two points from a position of safety at the start of play, hold a precious 1-0 lead at FA Cup semi-finalists Wigan, while fourth-from bottom Charlton are being held 1-1 at home by bottom club Yeovil.

Elsewhere, Bournemouth, Bolton, Ipswich, Brighton, Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough lead, but it's turning into an unhappy 53rd birthday for Leeds boss Brian McDermott, whose side are 2-0 down at Watford. What will new owner Massimo Cellino make of that?

"It's compelling and very very intriguing, PSG started well but were wasteful in the final third. They had Chelsea rattled and especially when Hazard went off. Schurrle finished it very well, he didn't smash it he just placed it in to the corner, Gary Cahill could have made it 2-0 as well so Chelsea are looking strong now.

"There are one or two silly fouls creeping in to Chelsea's game from Terry and Luiz, they have PSG where they want them the key is to keep them in there.

"PSG played within themselves in the first half, they hve definitely got a goal in them in the second half but at the moment Chelsea will think they can get another goal."

Chelsea still need another goal but there is real belief inside Stamford Bridge now. Not much in the way of serious threat from PSG and Andre Schurrle's goal means Jose Mourinho's side do not have to chase too hard too early.

Chelsea are halfway there. So far, so good.

I heard a radio phone-in the other day which suggested Petr Cech is not what he was. Rubbish! The big Czech is the perfect man to punch clear Thiago Motta's dangerous free-kick into the area.

Real Madrid are under the pump now. They must feel like they've kicked over a bee's nest as Dortmund swarm all over them. Cristiano Ronaldo is gesturing for his team-mates to raise it. Dortmund are buzzing.

James Keeling:, external Andre Schurrle has been really impressive this season. Doesn't get the credit he deserves.

Tim Arstall: , externalMassive goal from Schurrle restoring Chelsea's confidence after losing Hazard. Momentum is key.

Sham Gallagher:, external Schurrle is a fantastic player. Good thing Hazard went off. Chelsea are still in the tie, game on.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Now it's Edinson Cavani into the book for getting in the way of Chelsea taking a quick free-kick. It means the £55m striker will be suspended from PSG's next European match. Moments later, Frank Lampard is booked for bringing down Ezequiel Lavezzi in full flight.

  11. CLOSE!published at 20:24 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

It's all Chelsea now. Frank Lampard whips in another quality delivery and, after Gary Cahill's tame header is cleared, the ball comes back to the England centre-half but he shanks it wide. Well wide.

  12. Championship updatepublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Carlos Edwards has given second-from-bottom Millwall's push for survival a boost by putting them 1-0 up at fifth-placed Wigan, who are showing eight changes to the side who beat Leeds last weekend, and may just have one eye on Saturday's FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal.

There's a bit of a surprise at the King Power Stadium, where leaders Leicester - promoted last weekend - are 2-0 down at home to Brighton.

Derby, who retain a faint mathematical hope of automatic promotion, have come from a goal down to lead 3-1 at Blackpool in the night's one 20:00 BST kick-off, while Reading are looking a little wobbly in the final play-off place, as they trail 2-0 at Bournemouth. Second-placed Burnley are 1-0 up at Barnsley, third-placed QPR are 1-0 down at Blackburn.

"The goal means that Chelsea don't need to force the game before half time. Chelsea need to calm it down for the rest of the half and make sure they can contain PSG."

The stadium erupts into huge noise as Dortmund score again! This time, Robert Lewandowski curls an effort that hits the far post and bounces back out to the middle of the area, where Marco Reus smashes the ball into the roof of the net. Game on!

  15. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Plenty of drama at the Bridge as, from the very next attack, Andre Schurrle powers into the area and goes down after colliding with Marco Verratti. But that's exactly what it was...a collision. Play on!

Chief football writer Phil McNulty at Stamford Bridge

"Not much in the way of celebrations from Andre Schurrle or Chelsea after that goal. The job is only half done but Chelsea suddenly have momentum as PSG had looked solid."

  17. GOALpublished at 20:17 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Game on! The ball is catapulted into the box via Branislav Ivanovic's long throw, David Luiz flicks it on and Andre Schurrle is given the freedom of the penalty box to rifle home from 10 yards out. Who needs Eden Hazard?

  18. Postpublished at 20:17 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

It's all-Dortmund in Germany and they are really taking it to Real Madrid. One more goal for the hosts and I suspect Cristiano Ronaldo will be getting the call to get stripped for action.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:15 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

So, so close for Chelsea as Frank Lampard's free-kick, out on the left, takes a wicked deflection off the two-man wall but Salvatore Sirigu reacts superbly to parry the ball clear at his near post. The Italian number two is at it again moments later when he saves well from David Luiz's low shot.
