Chris White:, external So a contest that contained Hazard vs Ibrahimovic now has neither, bit of a shame really.

Zacharay Fox:, external With Hazard down already, I think Chelsea's already slim chances just went 2-Dimensional slim.

Alan Mackie:, external Chelsea getting outclassed here. A gulf between the sides. A yawning chasm.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:12 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

A couple of yellow cards to bring you up-to-date with - both Willian and Marco Verratti getting into trouble with the referee.

  3. GOALpublished at 20:09 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Route one, but Dortmund don't mind. Right-back Lukasz Piszczek plays a diagonal ball over the top and Marco Reus latches on to Pepe's weak header and reduces Real's advantage to two.

"There will be a big scream on the red half of Merseyside at that news, it's a huge blow for Chelsea.

"Hazard had done it on a couple of occasions tonight and had Jallet in his pocket. Laurent Blanc has the look of a man who knows he has a fantastic opportunity now that Chelsea have lost Hazard. PSG are outnumbering them and outplaying them in midfield, Chelsea just can't get close enough to the PSG midfielders. Oscar and Willian are working so hard to get the ball back that when they do they will be struggling to do anything with the ball due to fitness."

Ooooh so close for Dortmund! Robert Lewandowski, who scored four goals against Real Madrid in last year's Champions League semi-finals, skips the challenge of several Real players inside the area before feeding a pass to the unmarked Marcos Reus, who then finds Henrikh Mkhitaryan but but his shot is just wide.

  6. Postpublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

The worry for Chelsea is that PSG are looking so comfortable in possession. There's plenty of huff and puff from Chelsea but they can't seem to break in between the visitors' well-drilled lines as yet.

"Real disappointment in the air around Stamford Bridge as Eden Hazard made his way slowly off, clearly injured. The Belgian was one of the men Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho would have been counting on to provide the creation to open up PSG. Big opportunity for Andre Schurrle."

  8. Championship updatepublished at 20:04 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

It's a great start for Burnley in every sense, as they attempt to move a step closer to the Premier League. Ashley Barnes has touched in Michael Kightly's cross at the near post to give them a 1-0 lead at Barnsley.

And the Clarets have received an early favour from local rivals Blackburn, who lead third-placed QPR 1-0 thanks to Rudy Gestede's low shot. With fourth-placed Derby 1-0 down at Blackpool, Burnley would be in a position to seal promotion on Saturday if scores stay as they are. But it's early days.

It's 1-1 in the battle at the bottom between Charlton and Yeovil, where Astrit Adjarevic's early goal for the Addicks cancelled out by Joel Grant. Bournemouth, Bolton, Ipswich, Sheffield Wednesday and Watford all hold 1-0 leads.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:04 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Massive, massive blow for Chelsea as Eden Hazard hobbles off injured - we're not sure what the problem is yet - and is replaced by Andre Schurrle.

  10. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 20:02 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Justice is served when Angel Di Maria steps up but slips in his run-up and his spot-kick is beaten away by Roman Weidenfeller. Dortmund are still in this. Just about.

  11. PENALTY FOR REAL MADRIDpublished at 20:01 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

The visitors have been pretty quiet but they win a penalty when Fabio Coentrao's cross is deemed to have been handled by Lukasz Piszczek just inside the area. Looked a bit harsh on Dortmund...

Jenni: The biggest threat to PSG tonight could well come from themselves. They love to pass the ball out from the back, but they're no Barcelona. They almost got caught out a couple of times last week. Chelsea could really capitalise on that tonight if they press them high up the pitch.

John Terry's up for this one, winning the ball in his own half and charging upfield. Very direct from Chelsea, while PSG win the ball back and just stroke it around at the back - until they are almost left red-faced when Samuel Eto'o tries to nick the ball from goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu. Very different styles early doors.

Frank Lampard is seeing plenty of the ball early on, the veteran dropping deep to try and dictate the tempo of the game. Chelsea are growing into the game and some neat footwork from Oscar plays in Samuel Eto'o but the striker's effort is deflected wide.

Plenty of yellow pouring forward in Germany, but Real Madrid are managing to keep the hosts at arm's length. For now at least.

  18. Postpublished at 19:51 British Summer Time 8 April 2014

Chelsea's first opportunity of the night, five minutes in, and Frank Lampard stands over a free-kick. It's drilled into the penalty area but PSG clear it fairly comfortably.

PSG, in their white away strip, launch the first raid of the evening but the Chelsea blues stand firm. Maybe Laurent Blanc's side will be true to their manager's words [1926].
