Honduras coach Luis Suarez was not happy with that decision but it looked pretty clearcut to me. It may well go down as an OG as it hit the keeper on the way through.
Whatever, France lead 2-0.

Goalline technology! Karim Benzema thumps a volley against the far post, it comes back and hits goalkeeper Noel Valladares on the back, before the keeper tries to claw it out.
There's a huge appeal and after consulting the new goalline technology, it's in.
That's a World Cup first...

Match of the Day pundit
"The France players need to keep their heads. I think Honduras will be more physical, and that we'll see another red card in this game. France don't want to be picking up suspensions."
Osman Chavez and Boniek Garcia have come on at half-time for Honduras.
Boniek Garcia - interestingly - is named after former Poland and Juventus star Zbigniew Boniek. If he plays like him we may have a game on our hands after all.
Game on.
I imagine Didier Deschamps' half-time chat revolved around the importance of not getting sent-off. The fouls will keep coming.
Here come the players...
The BBC Match of the Day team asked if you thought England would reach the last 16 following Saturday's Italy defeat.
Thousands voted through this page and Twitter. The results are now in.
54% of you believe Roy Hodgson's men will make it through the group. Not a convincing win but the majority who voted retain faith. Thank you for taking part.
In around two hours' time Lionel Messi will be playing. In the Maracana.
Do not miss it. You can watch, listen and read all about it with us.
Thierry Henry
Former France and Arsenal striker
"I played games when it's been 11 v 11 - we have space - then they go down to 10 men and the space is restricted. It should be OK for us in the second half. I'll be more relaxed if we get a second goal."
Clarence Seedorf
Match of the Day analyst
"France need to read the game better in the second half. Honduras are showing exactly what they want to do, by putting lots of men behind the ball. The French, instead of trying to switch play with a long ball, are going short into the middle where eight or nine Honduras players are waiting.
"The French players need to take one touch and bang - move the ball quickly across the pitch. Hopefully they will have more control in the second half and read the play better."
Who you going to believe when it comes to red cards? Robbie Savage or Thierry Henry?

"Being a French guy I don't want to lose Pogba. I don't think it was a red card."

"Honduras have been over-physical. Wilson Palacios was absolutely stupid. His first yellow card was for trampling on Paul Pogba. The second yellow was needless. What is he doing?
"Pogba should have had a red card, though. He kicked out at Palacios. You can't do that. He should be off."
Adedamola:, external Really just don't know what Alex Ferguson was thinking when he let Paul Pogba leave Manchester United. Worst decision of the Fergie reign.

"It's never easy against a team like Honduras, They wait for you, they're aggressive. France were knocking at the door. We deserve to be 1-0 up. It's always tricky to play against a side that are down to 10 men."
Clarence Seedorf
Match of the Day analyst
"Dominating is, maybe, not the right way to express France's performance because they had difficulty getting through the Honduras defence. It is the first match of the tournament that we have seen such a defensive performance."
Karim Benzema has scored seven goals in his last seven games. Every time I see him play for France or Real Madrid he strikes me as not quite good enough - but he scores goals.
Pat Nevin
BBC Radio 5 live at Estadio Beira-Rio
"It was a fairly odd game. The French have not played particularly well and the Hondurans had a gameplan. Sadly for them it had a weakness. They make too many tackles and it has come back to haunt them. The foul for the penalty kick was basically just stupid.
"We are not used to seeing people diving into tackles. These are seen in the modern game as dangerous and they do it all the time."
Honduras's gameplan seemed to be to destroy any French attacks at source with a physical challenge.
Now they are down to 10 men and are 1-0 down, can they switch their style? If they are to come back into this it will take a complete role reversal.
