Diego Godin hands Steven Gerrard enough Uruguay paraphernalia to open a car-boot stall...
Ryan, Cornwall: If you had said before the tournament began that England would be in the tournament longer than Spain, we would have definitely taken that!
Paul, Scotland: In accordance with the unpredictability of this World Cup, I'm saying that England win 7-0 - Wayne Rooney scores four - Raheem Sterling gets sent off, and Luis Suarez does absolutely nothing controversial.
God Save The Queen is also jeered and whistled but the England fans as usual make themselves heard. Joe Hart belting it out but his timing is well out.
Let's play...

Uruguay's anthem is jeered by a large section of the crowd as it's introduced - that's interesting. A light, floaty anthem with a long intro booms into life.
Top marks to Luis Suarez on the volume/passion chart. Over to you England...

Handshakes all round from Uruguay captain Diego Godin as the players line up in the tunnel. Steven Gerrard embraces Wayne Rooney and has a few quiet words in his ear.

Former England captain Rio Ferdinand
BBC Radio 5 live
"Glen Johnson's defending has really improved over the years, he has done really well in that department, but for England he possibly plays with a little less protection than at club level, the same with Leighton Baines.
"In international football, your position can be plucked apart and they will have to work on that. Lack of communication - that also appeared to be a problem in the first game but in international football is key."

England are wearing their all-white kit tonight by the way, as they are in all three Group games. Will they get chance to wear red?
Former England captain Rio Ferdinand
"Luis Suarez is so quick on the ball, he is a real danger. You cannot let him turn and run at you when he is on the ball, but it's difficult because he is so unpredictable and intelligent in his play. And it's not just him, there's Edinson Cavani, I love how quick he his and his runs off the ball into space, he can also pick out Suarez and will be a danger.
"Suarez leaves a bit on you now and again but he's not someone who flies into you with an elbow. He has that cute South American devilment in his game... that we all hate. He is a nuisance, he gets on your nerves, but the guys at Liverpool they love him. He's someone you want in your team."

Should England lose to Uruguay in Sao Paulo, they will need Italy to beat Costa Rica on Friday.
Then England must overcome Costa Rica next Tuesday and hope Italy simultaneously defeat Uruguay.
If level, goal difference splits teams, then goals scored, finally results and goals in games involving the teams concerned.
Should England draw tonight, they would finish level with Uruguay at worst with victory against a Costa Rican side beaten by Italy.
If England win, a draw against Costa Rica could be enough, depending on goal difference.
A guy with a huge Iran flag looks a bit lost in the middle of the stand behind the goal in Sao Paulo - which is full of blue-shirted, blue-hatted Uruguayan fans.
It looks a bit chilly and overcast in Sao Paulo - England Test match weather. The ball would seam about here.

BBC Sport Chief Football Writer Phil McNulty in Sao Paulo
"England's defenders will be watching Luis Suarez anxiously here in Sao Paulo and you suspect Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers will be doing exactly the same, especially after Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez cast doubt on whether he would at peak fitness after his knee surgery.
"It is a case of "needs must" for Uruguay and Tabarez and, whether Liverpool like it or not, country would have been his only interest when taking the decision to play Suarez."
Matthew Humphries:, external England will be lucky to win tonight. More likely to be a draw or loss.
Paul Hankey:, external Really like Roy Hodgson but during interviews he looks like he's worried he's left the iron on.
