    Meanwhile, Charlton are running riot against Colchester as a quickfire Lawrie Wilson double makes it 3-0. Huddersfield have pulled one back at Chesterfield, Nahki Wells's goal making it 2-1. Amazingly, Dagenham & Redbridge have pulled it back to 3-3 against Brentford, having been 3-1 down.

    Finally, Luton, newly promoted to the Football League, lead Swindon 1-0 with Luke Rooney scoring a penalty against his former side.
