How can Scotland find a way back into the game? They scored a fine set-piece goal on Friday night, but they have to test Gary Cahill, Chris Smalling and Fraser Forster. All three have had it easy so far.

"Great ball from Wilshere for Oxlade goal. Always thought that would be his best position. England have handled the atmosphere very well so far."

Kingpin:, external Nathaniel Clyne already looks more comfortable in an England shirt than Glen Johnson.

bringthemonjpn:, external Scotland still well in this match, and I think we will see a big tempo upping in the second half...

    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

"England are good value for that lead at the break as they've dominated the possession in the middle third.

"There's been a couple of spells of nice passing and moving from Scotland. But, England have been solid and physical."

    BBC Radio 5 live

"It was a fast, furious and frantic first-half, but Jack Wilshere's was the one moment of real quality. His deft ball floated into the Scotland box delivered the goal and it killed the atmosphere slightly. Thereafter, England took charge of the game."

    Former Scotland international Pat Nevin
    BBC Radio 5 live

"From Scotland's point of view, the big problem is a lack of creativity. I'm not being too harsh on Chris Martin but I don't expect to see him in the sound half. He was utterly dominated and he couldn't hold the ball up, so Scotland had no outlet. Gordon Strachan has to get his thinking cap on."

    Alasdair Lamont
BBC Scotland Sport at Celtic Park

"The goal really took the wind out of Scotland's sails and though they are perhaps slightly unfortunate to go in a goal behind, the fact they haven't drawn a single save from Fraser Forster means they have little cause for complaint."

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2014

    Phil McNulty

"Scotland fans just showing the first signs of frustration as that half came to a close. Celtic Park is relatively subdued.

"As for England, impressive and assured, they deserve to be ahead. Will be interesting to see when manager Roy Hodgson makes his changes."

Scotland free-kick in a good area - well defended at the far post from Luke Shaw. Who then runs it down the line like a rugby union wing, great pace and power, getting England 50 yards of territory.

Will in York: Rooney has got the passing range of Paul Scholes, finishing of Alan Shearer, along with the grit of Vinnie Jones. He is a true England legend and our current leader. Any criticism of him is unbelievable. World class, in my opinion.

AP: Big response needed from Scotland now - this game could get away from them...

Both sides can make six changes this evening. So there will no doubt be six, from England anyway.

"Calum Chambers and Ross Barkley are warming up quite vigorously, so I think we may well see them introduced at half-time. And I'd expect to see Saido Berahino at some point. There's no point calling a young player into the squad if he's not going to get an opportunity. Give him a taste of the big time."

A few shoulders just threatening to droop in the Scotland camp as their attacks consistently hit a brick wall. Nathaniel Clyne is being kept busy on the England right but it's a test he's passing with flying colours so far. Impressive display.

Scotland work it inside, it momentarily opens up for Shaun Maloney - but his hot is horrible. Into row K, forcing Gordon Strachan to give his dugout some GBH with a programme.
