Three hundred and seventy hardy souls have made the trip to Krasnodar to support Everton.
That is a credential-proving trip for any fan.
We asked where you would go to play abroad before returning home for the swansong of your career.
Bromi Löw:, external I'd love to play in a Milan derby #bbcfootball
Jacob Adamou:, external Dortmund, just for the fans ! One off the best in the world ! #bbcfootball
Sean:, external Schalke 04, unbelievable fans and atmosphere in the ground
Ben Goldie:, external As an attacking player I'd go for Germany. Great attacking players with weaker defences.
Teams are in the tunnel and Everton are rocking their white change kit with luminous trim. It looks like the kit designer got the highlighter out after running out of every other colour.
Everton fans fell for Andrei Kanchelskis on 18 November 1995. That was the date that the Russian scored both goals in a 2-1 derby win away to Liverpool.
Kanchelskis's flying performances on the wing has ensured the club a small pocket of support out in Russia.
"I saw them all with blue shirts on and thought they had travelled from Liverpool," said Everton boss Roberto Martinez.
"But they told me 'No, we are Russian'. They told me the club has had big support in the country ever since Andrei Kanchelskis played at Goodison."
Just like that Grampus Eight hardcore that still exists in Leicester from Gary Lineker's time in Japan...
Paul C: , externalMiddle Earth? I work a further 1000 miles further east from Krasnodar in Siberia. Trust me...Krasnodar is NYC by comparison!

So, in your imaginary professional football career (and don't pretend you don't have one), which foreign club would you play for before returning to the United Kingdom for a 30+ swansong at your hometown club?
Perhaps a couple of seasons with Fiorentina to soak up the culture off pitch as well as on?
A stint at Galatasaray to taste the white heat of an Istanbul derby?
Or perhaps a Beckham-style jaunt to the bright lights of Major League Soccer?
Where would you fancy as a foreign footballing posting?

Aiden McGeady will be in charge of ordering for Everton at any local post-game meal tonight.
The Republic of Ireland international spent three years at Spartak Moscow and addressed the local media in near-fluent Russian on Wednesday.
His time in the Russian capital ended on a sour note with him refusing to extend his contract to force a move back to Blighty. But, overall, his foreign jaunt was very enjoyable.
'I was 24 when I left Celtic to come here and I don't regret it at all. I think it's good for British and Irish players to go away sometimes and experience new things," he said.
The last time that Everton played away in Europe was in February 2010, when they were sent packing 3-0 by Sporting Lisbon.
There are plenty of veterans from that match with Tim Howard, Leighton Baines and Phil Jagielka all involved.
Quite a few of those involved are long gone though.
Landon Donovan, Philippe Senderos and now-BBC pundit Phil Neville were among those feeling the pain in the Portuguese capital.

Everton make five changes from the team that drew 1-1 at Liverpool in the Merseyside derby. The goalkeeper and defence remain the same but only Gareth Barry is retained from the six players in front of them. Midfielders Darron Gibson, Christian Atsu, Aiden McGeady and Leon Osman come in to the side, with Samuel Eto'o the lone striker. Romelu Lukaku, Steven Naismith and Muhamed Besic are named on the bench, along with Tyias Browning, who came on for his Toffees debut at Anfield.
Krasnodar make two changes from their last game - a 3-0 win over Arsenal Tula. Midfielder Mauricio Pereyra and Brazilian striker Ari come in for midfield duo Joaozinho and Wanderson, who have seven goals between them this season.
In the 16:00 BST kick-off, Russia side Dinamo Moscow are currently level at 0-0 with Dutch club PSV Eindhoven.
There are a handful of matches kicking off at 18:00 BST - English defender Micah Richards could feature for Fiorentina as they look for their second win at Dinamo Minsk, while Spanish club Villarreal host current Group A leaders Apollon Limassol.
Another Spanish side in action are Sevilla, who will be looking to get their second win in Group G at Croatian side HNK Rijeka.
Rafa Benitez's Napoli are also seeking to maintain their 100% start to Group I at Slovan Bratislava.
No need for Tottenham and Celtic to get out the big Uefa atlas.
The second matches of their Europa League group campaigns are home ties.
They are fashionably late to the party as well.
20:05 BST: Tottenham v Besiktas
20:05 BST: Celtic v Dinamo Zagreb
Samuel Eto starts on his own up front for Everton with Phil Jagielka partnering John Stones in the centre of defence. Tony Hibbert retains his place at right-back.
Everton starting XI: Howard, Hibbert, Baines, Stones, Jagielka, Gibson, Barry, Atsu, McGeady, Osman, Eto'o.
Minas Tirith. Nogrod. Krasnodar.
When you can't tell your opponents' hometown from locations in Tolkien's Middle Earth, you know you are in the Europa League.
Forget the one ring.
Roberto Martinez's plucky band of Evertonians set off from Liverpool John Lennon airport yesterday on a 2,000-mile quest to recover three points from way out East.
Kick-off is half an hour away. Will it be a happy ending for the Toffees?
