Besiktas are currently second in the Turkish Super Lig, two points behind surprise early leaders Akhisar Belediyes.

They finished third last season, a campaign in which Bilic injected a bit of politics into the dressing room.

"The team's philosophy is 'power to the people.' There are no rich or poor here. No classes. That's why I can say that I am endeavouring for a socialist team," he said.

Might be a difficult trick to pull in a Premier League dressing room with some of your players picking up a quarter of a million pounds a week.

"The good news for Celtic is that Kris Commons and Jason Denayer have recovered from injury for tonight's match and take their place in Ronny Deila's starting XI. The bad news is that Callum McGregor - one of their most dangerous players so far this season - is out altogether. He's replaced by Aleksandar Tonev. John Guidetti - who's ineligible - and the young defender Eoghan O'Connell are the other players to drop out."

Everton midfielder Aiden McGeady: "We probably came here not knowing what to expect from Krasnodar, but they surprised us and played very well in the first half. But I think we controlled the game in the second half and deserved the draw, and in the last 10 games could even have snuck the win.

"It was always going to be a difficult game here, what with the time difference and the long flight. European games are never easy. The travelling is just a part of playing in Europe, but it's not ideal preparation.

"But we're sitting with four points after two defect games - I think we can be happy enough. We passed and tried to play through them, and ultimately we got the result in the end."

  8. Which foreign team would your play for?published at 19:09 British Summer Time 2 October 2014

Jenni in Newtownards: We'd all love to go play football where the fans are something really special, and that is certainly the case in countries like Turkey and Greece. I'd love to be involved and score the winner in a Fenerbahce vs Galatasaray or a Olympiacos vs Panathinaikos game. You'd be remembered as a hero forever, and probably end up with a free time-share for life as well!

Jake in Southampton: Bordeaux, for the wine and food. Probably would not bother to return. Southampton would have to do without me.

Kit Durant: I'd take a lucrative deal in the new Indian Super League and play for the Kerala Blasters. Managed by none other than David James!

Kerela Blasters, who are owned by cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar, managed by David James and will have former Newcastle striker Michael Chopra up front, certainly seem like the most enviable team in the new Indian Super League.

They used their home advantage very well and we had to weather the storm, but we could have won it.

"You always want six points after two games - that's what you're fighting for. But today, that's a good point. Krasnodar are a team in form, and they showed that today. For us to be unbeaten in Europe after two games is pleasing. And this was a good, strong performance from all my players."

Robb Crow: I think my silky skills would go down well in Bhutan, 208th in the FIFA ranking...

Andy in Armagh: Ever since I was young, I've always dreamt about playing in the River Plate vs Boca Juniors derby. The sights, sounds and colours of that game are second to none. The passion for football in South America is something else entirely.
