Romelu Lukaku throws a leg skywards in an attempt to hook in an ambitious bicycle kick. The referee is not having any of that in a packed penalty box though. Free-kick to Krasnodar and a chance to relieve the pressure.

Samuel Eto'o times his run into the box well and just about decides which part of his body he is going to use to turn in Leighton Baines' swinging cross from the right. He goes for a combination of shin and ankle and it does the job, dribbling home.

It has been barely deserved but Everton are level.

As Everton throw more men forward, there are holes appearing at the back and Krasnodar look in the mood to have an attacking poke.

Romelu Lukaku finds himself isolated against right-back Ragnar Sigurdsson, but the Everton defender cannot get in a telling cross after skipping past his man.

He has not been able to bully the Russian side's defence so far this evening...

BBC Scotland's senior football reporter Alasdair Lamont at Celtic Park
    BBC Sport

"This cavernous stadium is all but empty with more than an hour-and-a-half still to go until kick-off and there are suggestions the top tier will remain closed this evening. It'll be interesting to see how that affects the atmosphere here because Celtic are so used to having the backing of a raucous home support on European nights. Will the Europa League ignite the passions in the way the Champions League has done in recent times? We shall see."

Samuel Eto'o, more used to Roberto Carlos rampaging up on the overlap, opts not to pass to Tony Hibbert, instead taking on a shot from 20 yards.

He should have fed the Hibbert.

Eto'o's shot is a scruffy, miserable effort that is easily hoofed clear.

What a goal that would have been!

Wanderson, just on as a sub, weaves through a forest of Everton defenders to stare right into the eyes of Tim Howard. Leaning back a little his scooped shot beats the goalkeeper, but dings off the crossbar and away.

    Skin-of-the-teeth escape for the Toffees.

My, my, my. Krasnodar should be two clear. Odil Ahmedov's ugly shank is all that stands between Everton and the rough end of a 2-0 scoreline.

Marat Izmailov's shot rebounds off Tony Hibbert, bobbling across the area and into the path of Ahmedov 10 yards out. His walloped effort should be hitting the net, but instead thuds into a covering defender off stage left.

One-nil down, away from home, with 35 minutes to put it right. It was a conundrum that Liverpool could not solve last night, Everton are looking similarly stumped at the moment.

Dinamo Moscow players celebrate with Yuri Zhirkov (centre) after his stoppage-time winner

The 16:00 BST game finished with a 1-0 victory for Dinamo Moscow over PSV Eindhoven thanks to Yuri Zhirkov's late, late winner. The former Chelsea left-sided player thumped in with three minutes of stoppage time played, after keeper Jeroen Zoet failed to deal with former Blackburn defender Christopher Samba's header.

That's now two wins from two for the Russian side in Group E, with the Dutch club on three points following their opening win.
