  1. Tottenham 0-1 Stokepublished at 13:56 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

    James Scowcroft
BBC Radio London summariser at White Hart Lane

"Asmir Begovic has been booked but I don't actually think it was that kick alone he got booked for. He's been time wasting on a couple of kicks before that, and we've only been playing 22 minutes!"

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:56 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

The physios in Cheshire will be busy this international break. Manchester United's entire defence is wiped out, and Stoke have now lost two of their back four inside 25 minutes.

Marc Wilson is off, limping to the sidelines, and Marc Muniesa is on. A second ex-Barca man for the Potters.

  3. Postpublished at 13:54 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

    Former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson
BBC Radio 5 live at the Stadium of Light

"Sunderland have almost retreated into a shell. The problem with Everton is that they are moving the ball very slowly and Sunderland have got everybody back.

"But Samuel Eto'o is quite easily the most dominant player in this game, very easily. He ran the game against Burnley, scored twice and should have had a third in fact."

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:54 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

Asmir Begovic is booked for timewasting. After 23 minutes. A long way to go if Stoke are planning to see this one out!

Marc Wilson then goes down with an injury - another change on the cards?

  5. CLOSE!published at 13:53 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

The second of Tottenham's homegrown duo, midfielder Ryan Mason, takes aim from 30 yards. He gets plenty of power and swerve into his effort, but can't beat Asmir Begovic at his near post.

  6. Postpublished at 13:53 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

Interesting little stat for you... the first match of Alan Irvine's managerial career was for Preston against Charlton, who were then managed by Alan Pardew. The Addicks won that one.

  7. Postpublished at 13:51 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

Samuel Eto'o in a free role is pulling all the strings for Everton, Sunderland just can't pick him up at all. Romelu Lukaku is enjoying playing alongside him but lashes a shot wastefully over the bar after good work.

  8. Postpublished at 13:50 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

Both of these sides look incredibly organised these days, zipping the ball about well - and West Brom again go close when Graham Dorrans stands up a cross into the box but Chris Burnt heads wide.

Kevin Windsor:, external Delighted for Mr. Bojangoals! Hopefully the first of many!

S.J Chowdhury:, external Just three months late but welcome to the party Bojan.

Dirtybob:, external Poor officiating again, Mame Diouf offside in line of sight for Hugo Lloris and may well have deflected it.

  10. Postpublished at 13:48 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

Darron Gibson - replacement for the injured Gareth Barry - has a goal in him and takes on a snapshot from range, deflected wide. Sunderland had a decent opening five minutes or so but since then the visitors have looked in control.

  11. Postpublished at 13:46 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

The home side coming into the game at The Hawthorns, Saido Berahino dropping off to get involved in the build-up. And involved he is, collecting a lay-off from Victor Anichebe and stinging the palms of Tim Krul with a rasping drive from 25 yards.

  12. Postpublished at 13:45 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

Stoke playing some marvellous counter-attacking football. The front three link up superbly, with Victor Moses streaming up on the overlap and seeing his shot deflected behind. It's very quiet at the Lane.

  13. Postpublished at 13:44 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

Not much of a response from Spurs since they fell behind. Jurgen Klinsmann is in the crowd though, a huge favourite at White Hart Lane. The US national team boss will be keeping an eye on Geoff Cameron.

  14. Postpublished at 13:43 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

    Former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson
BBC Radio 5 live at the Stadium of Light

"Gareth Barry was only 50/50 for this game, he did have an ankle problem and that is where the challenge caught him. Where's Darron Gibson's hair gone since we last saw him? He's looking baldy."

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:42 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

Gareth Barry stretchered offImage source, PA

After a lot of work, Gareth Barry is carried off on a stretcher with his right ankle heavily strapped. He is replaced by Darron Gibson.

Looks a serious one for Barry.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:41 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

Newcastle are bossing proceedings now - a loose ball being pounced on by Sammy Ameobi on the edge of the box and the forward curls his effort onto the bar with keeper Ben Foster well beaten.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:41 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

Jordi Gomez - hardly a hatchet man - catches Gareth Barry in midfield and is booked. It wasn't particularly malicious but Barry is in agony. He calls for a stretcher, in real pain. He's going to have to come off.

  18. Tottenham 0-1 Stokepublished at 13:39 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

    James Scowcroft
BBC Radio London summariser at White Hart Lane

"Tottenham just back off and back off and nobody shuts him down. Bojan just drives right at the heart of the Tottenham defence. One of the centre halves has got to come out, they left Danny Rose too exposed.

"But it's a great strike by Bojan, no chance for Hugo Lloris in goal. Terrible start for Spurs. You would think the early goal would just play right into Stoke's hands."

  19. Join the debate at #bbcfootballpublished at 13:39 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

Sanj:, external Spurs are losing. Quick - blame the Europa League.

Ryan Judson:, external It's pretty sad that I struggle to think of a poorer looking defence than the one Spurs roll out every week.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:39 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

A great start for Stoke at White Hart Lane, but they are forced into an early change. Phil Bardsley has picked up a groin injury by the looks of it, and Geoff Cameron is on in his place.
