There is no Hatem Ben Arfa in the Hull squad today, he has gone back to Newcastle after an unsuccessful loan spell. And the Magpies have just confirmed that they have agreed to terminate his contract with immediate effect.

He's off to play back in France with Nice.

Yeovil manager Gary Johnson, speaking to Match of the Day: "We know they are a quality side and when you look at their bench we knew some of those would make a difference later in the game and that is what happened.

"We had a chance [through Kieffer Moore] but it was a world class goal from a world class player that put them in front. You can only be proud of the boys and the club. I think we go home with more pride than disappointment.

"There was not £34m or £59m between the players individually on the day. Hopefully that will give our players confidence to pick up in the league."

Three of Arsenal's last five FA Cup goals have been scored by defenders from corners. Hull haven't heeded the warning.

"Hull are rattled and haven't recovered from conceding the goal. It was a very simple goal but very poor defending by Hull. I thought Hull were just getting into the game. Arsenal are breaking very quickly. Alexis Sanchez is so clever - he needs two markers against him."

Arsenal looking slick.

Another corner, another meltdown for Hull as Yannick Sagbo ends up diverting the ball onto the base of his own post. A lucky escape for the Tigers.

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal, speaking to Match of the Day: "I had expected this. It is always difficult to play against a team like this - play long balls - you have to fight and they gave us a lot of pressure. We did not have time to play the ball around, changed things a little bit in shape in the second half but that was necessary as Shaw was injured, as was Rafael. We then had more of the ball and that is why we could score the winner.

"We had more chances in the second half and our first goal came as a consequence of that. Then Yeovil attacked and we were able to score on the counter.

"It [the FA Cup] is important for every club, not just Manchester United. We want to win the FA Cup, we know it will be difficult but that is our goal."

"We talked about a captain's performance and that was a Captain's goal and just when your club needs you most. That was all about his size, you can't help think the defender should do better but when you are 6ft 7 you should be the winner every time."

Curtis Davies was the nearest defender to Per Mertesacker for that goal but didn't do enough. At all.

Oh and that is brilliant! Great feet from Tomas Rosicky to dance away from two defenders and play in Alexis Sanchez, he dances around Steve Harper but his shot is superbly cleared by the sliding Paul McShane. The very best of Arsenal there, but tremendous defending too.

Neat and tidy around the fringes of the Chelsea box from Watford, but nothing to take home yet from the match.

Craig Cathcart snatches at a 20-yard effort, clearing the crossbar from Matej Vydra's lay-off.

Should you mark a 6ft 7in German at a corner? Hull decide not to bother and Per Mertesacker is a tower at the back post to head down and into the net.

Will Arsenal replace Lukas Podolski? Or do they have enough attacking options in their squad? Hector Bellerin does well down the right with a driving run and cross, but there is nobody in the middle.

Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher: "Coming to Yeovil you have to battle to earn the right to win. Credit to Yeovil they made it very difficult. We would have liked to have played better but sometimes you have to earn the right to do that and we had to dig in deep.

"It ultimately took a fantastic goal to open the scoring and Angel Di Maria finished it off. A great result all in all because it was always going to be difficult."

"That is a fantastic run from Tom Ince, coming onto his favoured left foot and Arsenal left-back Nacho Monreal is not tight enough. Plenty of power in the shot but it lacks a bit of direction.
