  1. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 17:47 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

After beating West Ham on Boxing Day, Chelsea trained on the pitch at Stamford Bridge immediately after the final whistle.

They look like they have started doing the same again with five minutes still to play here.

The pace of the game had dropped markedly, but Diego Costa provides a moment of excitement, curling a clever free-kick against the base of the post.

Watford have replaced Gianni Munari with Sean Murray.

  2. CLOSE!published at 17:47 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Cracking effort at the other end now as Tom Ince comes across Nacho Monreal, whose defending is weak, and powers in a low drive which whistles into the side-netting. I think Arsenal keeper David Ospina had it covered, but a fine attempt all the same.

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on BBC MOTD

"Hull boss Steve Bruce has obviously got one eye on the difficult league games against West Brom and West Ham coming up. But he is a proud man and enjoyed his day out at Wembley so will not want to let go of that lightly."

Brilliant stuff. Theo Walcott plays in Alexis Sanchez with a cute pass into the area. Harry Maguire makes up the ground to block the striker's first effort, and he then goes for a clever chip for his second and floats it onto the roof of the net. Great effort.

  5. Postpublished at 17:42 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

That is a nasty one. Francis Coquelin is late and low on Stephen Quinn, studs into his ankle. Somehow he gets away without a booking.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 17:41 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Stamford Bridge jokingly jeer Jose Mourinho's decision to withdraw Didier Drogba. Nathan Ake is going to get a run for the final 10 minutes.

  7. Postpublished at 17:41 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Hull do keep the ball nicely for the first time, but Tom Huddlestone chooses to lay the ball off when a shot is on.

WENGER COAT ALERT! Arsene reaches for his long blue effort but as the cameras zoom in, he again struggles with that tricky zip mechanism. After a few clumsy attempts he decides to leave it unzipped.

  8. Postpublished at 17:39 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

    Great dig!

Matej Vydra, off the bench, wallops an effort in from fully 30 yards and it is really travelling. Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech throws up a hand to see it over the top for a corner.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Stuart Gray: "It's a sickener, once we got our noses in front we knew we could frustrate them and hit them on the break. They had to put David Silva and Samir Nasri on and they had to chase the game. We made a talented team play to the max.

"We deserved the lead and Manchester City ended up giving us the ultimate respect. I always say have a look at what players ended the game, rather than started it."

  10. Postpublished at 17:38 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

It's been a rampaging start from the Gunners, Hull have barely been out of their own half.

  11. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 17:37 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Chelsea fans point out to their Watford counterparts that they have stopped making any noise.

Those from the north edge of the M25 do spring into life as Fernando Forestieri's ball into the box is blocked by Kurt Zouma. They thought it was a hand, but replays show the Frenchman puffed out his chest to cut out the pass.

  12. Postpublished at 17:36 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

    David Pleat
Former Tottenham manager on BBC Radio 5 live:

"What a tremendous burst by Campbell to get into a goalscoring position. It looked odds on a goal but that was a tremendous block by Harper."

  13. Postpublished at 17:36 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on BBC MOTD

"Tom Huddlestone has great technique and great vision. Arsenal's midfield need to get tight to him. That means there is a lot resting on the shoulders of young Francis Coquelin.

"Great run from Joel Campbell there, a nice one-two with Alexis Sanchez. The home crowd have warmed to that - Campbell wants to get on the ball and get at players."

  14. CLOSE!published at 17:36 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

What a chance! Arsenal nearly ahead early on as Joel Campbell plays a rapid one-two with Alexis Sanchez, the pair slicing through the Hull backline, but Campbell's left-foot shot is tame and kicked clear by Steve Harper.

Matthew Bonson:, external Arsenal v Hull. FA Cup final repeat. I'd like repeat of the first eight minutes...then maybe stay like that for the remaining 82.

Louis Longhurst:, external Great to see Theo Walcott back after a year. Hope he gets straight back into the form he was in when he picked up that injury.

Kunjan Punatar:, external A great sense of excitement. Arsenal playing as defending champions. Let's make this happen again.

  16. Postpublished at 17:34 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Theo Walcott has started playing on the right, with Alexis Sanchez through the middle. In Walcott and Hector Bellerin Arsenal have an incredibly nippy right flank.

  17. Postpublished at 17:32 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Hull were 2-0 up inside eight minutes when these two sides met in the final back in May. Can they manage a similar blockbuster start here?

  18. GOALpublished at 17:32 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

The Chelsea fans urge Cesar Azpilicueta to shoot. The full-back has better ideas and clips a pin-point cross onto the head of Kurt Zouma who powers home a fine third.

  20. Postpublished at 17:31 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Hull City boss Steve Bruce: "We had such a great time in the FA Cup last year but we have just come out of a hectic schedule.

"It has been a difficult team selection but it was a case of 'do I play the vast majority who have played three games in seven days?' or 'do I freshen us up?' I had to freshen things up."
