Isaac Wolafar:, external Hull are holding the ball nicely. I'm becoming to sense the Gunners ghosts will soon appear and Hull will get something from this.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 18:57 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Hull do send on Uruguayan striker Abel Hernandez for the last 20 minutes. Can he make the difference?

Luke Hyam:, external Great game and experience, fully deserved, best away support I've seen. What an atmosphere.

Tommy Smith:, external Good draw against a very good team. Our support was immense 👏 safe trip home to everyone. Massive game to prepare for now! #itfc

  4. CLOSE!published at 18:56 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Chance for Theo Walcott! Great pass from Santi Cazorla, fired in at Walcott and allowing him to spin into space. The touch takes him wide though and he hurries the finish, flicking wide as Steve Harper closed him down. An understandably rusty finish.

    David Pleat
Former Tottenham manager on BBC Radio 5 live:

"Ahmed Elmohamady has come on for Hull. He is very tall, strong and a very good crosser of the ball. Whether he can get at Nacho Monreal I'm not sure. There is no area of the field where Hull have the ascendancy."

  6. Postpublished at 18:53 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Step one of Hull's second-half plan is working. They are seeing much more of the ball and disrupting Arsenal when they get on it. But phase two - test David Ospina - is not under way at all. This third-round Sunday is drifting away from us.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 18:50 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Hull do make a switch, Egyptian wing-back Ahmed Elmohamady on for Sone Aluko. Bit of a change of shape coming up. Last half an hour.

  8. CLOSE!published at 18:49 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

It all opens up for Joel Campbell, on his left foot, edge of the area - but he drags it badly wide. No conviction about that shot.

Steve Bruce holds his head in his hands after another attack comes unstuck. It's not happening for Hull at the moment. Well, for the last 12 months really.

  10. Postpublished at 18:45 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

    David Pleat
Former Tottenham manager on BBC Radio 5 live:

"Hull are having more of the play but they're not getting behind Arsenal. Arsenal will be happy. I would think that around the 60-minute mark Steve Bruce will think about changing the system and making some changes."

  11. Postpublished at 18:43 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Hull do have Uruguay striker Abel Hernandez on the bench, Jake Livermore too. Steve Bruce may have to make changes soon. Ten minutes gone in the second half.

  12. Postpublished at 18:40 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Hull attack. Yannick Sagbo tops a header after a good run from Robbie Brady, the midfield opens up and Arsenal break. Tomas Rosicky uses Joel Campbell as a decoy, arcing right through the middle and galloping into the space. He is one on one with the last defender but loses out. Next goal crucial.

    Martin Keown
    BBC Sport

"Alexis Sanchez has just got that extra bit of pace, Curtis Davies is no slouch but when Sanchez wants to go he can be electric."

Alexis Sanchez can't half shift. Great pace to get away from Curtis Davies, he makes it look so easy, burning up the turf and testing Steve Harper with a skidding low shot.

  15. Postpublished at 18:36 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

    David Pleat
Former Tottenham manager on BBC Radio 5 live:

"Hull manager Steve Bruce will have told his team to play on the front foot in these first few minutes of the second half. In truth, they didn't make any chances in the first period. Arsenal got on top of game after going ahead, and that goal seemed to knock the stuffing out of Hull's early efforts."

    Theo WalcottImage source, PA

Steve Bruce waves his men forwards as Tom Ince wins a throw. The age-old conundrum for Hull now - doe they push men on and risk being done on the break? In Theo Walcott, Joel Campbell and Alexis Sanchez the hosts have all sorts of pace up front.

  17. KICK-OFFpublished at 18:34 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Game on in the second half. Kudos to the man on the wheels of steel for the first public playing of 'Jump Around' by House of Pain since circa 1997.

  18. Postpublished at 18:33 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on BBC MOTD

"Arsenal have totally dominated and I'm looking to Hull boss Steve Bruce to see if he can get his two wide players closer to the frontman. It's only 1-0 but Hull need a reaction. Hull are almost content to be 1-0 down."

  19. Postpublished at 18:30 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Jose Mourinho has just reiterated that goalkeeper Petr Cech will not be leaving Stamford Bridge.

The Gunners have lost just one of their last 38 FA Cup home matches (W28 D9 L1).

A 29th win on the cards?
