Evans Kangwa races forward and hurdles challenges to launch a late Zambia attack, he gets a cross in...handball? No, hits a face and wins a corner which is headed clear at the near post.

That stoppage will take us beyond the three added minutes...

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 17:49 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2015

Bolasie, right footed from the touchline, right in the mixer and boom...goalkeeper, several players and everything but the referee pile into a challenge. Needless to say the goalkeeper stays down and he gets the decision.

Kennedy Mweene was brave to throw himself in there and in a muddied yellow jersey, is flat out on the six-yard box.

There will be three minutes of added time. Come on, let's have a winner and some headlines.

Set piece for DR Congo can be pumped in the box, Yannick Bolasie over it...

Around 90 seconds remain. Credit to Zambia for sticking in there, they could have wilted when that leveller went in. Average without the ball all day, they have at least been resolute. Forward come DR Congo again...

Paul Dilley:, external Bolasie is brilliant but for palace could not hit a cows bum with a banjo. Let's hope he brings his shooting boots back!

Liam Harris:, external Imagine how good Palace will be with Bolasie and Jedinak back, Europe anyone?

Nathan Sinkala limps off for Zambia and they bring on fresh legs as they try to hang on for a draw here. Kondwani Mtonga is glued to the turf temporarily for Zambia - he went over the top of an opponent when contesting an aerial challenge.

    The seconds tick away...

    Rainford Kalaba

Zambia's coach Honour Janza was appointed on an interim basis at the start of qualifying for the tournament but has held onto his job.

Dieumerci Mbokani has been in the right place all day long for DR Congo to get on the end of deliveries and this time an overhead kick from an impossible angle draws a parry and panic.

Another Zambia player is on the deck. This is a young side remember and they are seemingly worn out in these late stages.

As another Zambia player hits the deck - Nathan Sinkala - and the clock ticks down, let me just tell you to keep an eye out for goal celebrations in this tournament. We saw some standard dancing yesterday but today, DR Congo's goalkeeper brought down the house when they levelled with his 'bum shuffle'.

This, my inquisitive friends, sees him sit on the grass but sort of shuffle along while smiling.

Will these sides play out the token opening-game draw we so often see in tournament football. You just feel DR Congo have that little bit more in their locker, particularly a certain Crystal Palace winger who has just raced through midfield to start an attack which eventually fizzles out.

BBC Sport's Ed Harry: Has been DR Congo's half, with more pressure since the goal. This DRC side won 4-3 away to Ivory Coast in qualifying - they can handle themselves. All square for now in a repeat of the 1974 final - but that day Zambia lost.

Zambia at last put a spell of possession together and win a first corner of the second half. This would be robbery if they snatch three points but Rainford Kalaba's delivery is horribly sliced for another corner...in it comes...well dealt with. A break from chasing down opposition players if noting else for the side in green.

Mohammed:, external Best- Kalusha Bwalya. Lifted the whole nation right till the final merely a year after the entire team perished off Gabon coast.

The 1993 Zambia national football team air disaster occurred on 27 April 1993. All 25 passengers and five crew members were killed.

Andy:, external The worst is a certain lucky Benjani Mwaruwari and the best must be Kalusha Bwalya.

Harry Redknapp would be having none of that shout Andy.

We have a player down as DR Congo await taking a corner. Is this a tactical ploy as Ronald Kampamba is flat out on the ground? His side need a reprieve.

DR Congo have had 14 shots to Zambia's six so far today.

    Fifa World Ranking: 50

    Population: 14.5m

National dish: Nshima - a dish made from maize flower which forms the staple of many meals in Zambia. Not sure what you think but it looks like mashed potato to me.

Major exports: Refined and raw copper.

Another sub Junior Kabananga has a dig from range but it's tame and gobble dup by the goalkeeper. Credit to DR Congo, they deserve to be level and I can't help but think Zambia would take a point with glee right now. Kabananga again...volleys wide.

  19. GOALpublished at 17:21 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2015

I was unfair on Cedrick Mabwati -writing him off when he came on a moment ago as he has just created a goal with his first touch and the scorer should be obvious.

Yannick Bolasie has had several sighters already today and this one finds the top corner beautifully. Mabwati cuts the ball back, here comes Bolasie 18 yards out, a whipped right-foot finish gives the keeper no chance. Crystal Palace fans, let's hear you.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 17:21 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2015

Cedrick Mabwati has forged a career in Spain, most recently with Osasuna and he is on for DR Congo. A forward, he has just 17 league goals in seven years so perhaps not one to worry Zambia.

Junior Kabananga of Cercle Brugge also enters the fray.
