FT: Zambia 1-1 Congo DR
Bolasie earns DR Congo a point
Luke Reddy and Andy Cryer
There is Yannick Bolasie - like road runner as ever charging around the field - and this time a poor clearance falls into his path 18 yards out. No thought, left footed, low, not a clean hit, saved by the legs of the goalkeeper who still has not collected a shot or cross cleanly.
Rainford Kalaba - a 70+ cap man for Zambia. I expected some sort of stalwart central midfielder or defender but he's actually a tricky left winger. I didn't know wingers could be so consistent.
He dances down the flank and deliver a cross which causes some panic but it's dealt with - headed away.
Emmanuel Embola - the Zambia left-back - just chested the ball back to his goalkeeper at the back post - I love it when a player does that. Cool and relaxed.
Credit to Zambia's midfielders who are working hard in front of the defence to stay on top of any attacks. Good pressing, a few shoulder charges and should we say 'loose' tackles.
BBC'S Gary Al-Smith:, external DRC have such small fonts on their shirts is because of a printing error. Caf official says they will be fined.
I can only assume the fella in the crowd with a horn is a DR Congo fan because he's gone quiet. Maybe he's run out of lung power. This crowd indeed sounds quiet and in fairness, the way Zambia are keeping this tight is maybe silencing them.
The Bullets are not great with the ball but their lead is not under threat.
Nderitu Wachira:, external Best: Okocha, Kanu, Mutiu Adepoju, Hosam Hassan, Weah, Esanga Emeka,K.Bwalya. Worst: Phil Masinga.
Anthony Giddings:, external Best- Mamady Sidibe; Worst- Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu.
Mahmoud:, external The best is Aboutraika and the worst is Rigobert Song.

DR Congo, with Youssouf Mulumbu on the ball a lot, are patient in possession. They seem to believe they can work their way back into this and haven't been panicked by the goal. A free-kick from wide is whipped in by Yannick Bolasie is met by Chancel Mbemba Mangulu 10 yards out but his header is high and wide.
BBC Sport's Ed Harry in Ebebeyin: The 'keepers need to wake up here. A flap led to the goal, and now Zambia's Mweene has spilled twice when coming to claim. DRC warming up now
Chisamba Lungu stands over the ball, legs apart like Jonny Wilkinson, and thumps an effort goalwards but it's parried away.
It was travelling. Neither of these keepers believe in catching the ball. That should make for some fun.
Zambia and Southampton striker Emmanuel Mayuka is brought down 30 yards from goal. As we've seen, Zambia are not shy when it comes to shooting and this, mark my words will be smashed at goal.
Zambia - their goalkeeper aside - look quite comfortable. Their foot has come off the gas slightly as they gather themselves after taking that early lead.
Another Yannick Bolasie shot for DR Congo from range causes a scramble in the box but Zambia are all over the turmoil and hoof it clear. Organised chaos on their behalf until big defender Stoppila Sunzu puts a massive boot through it.
The English contingent in this day-two opener...
Southampton's Emmanuel Mayuka lines up for Zambia, while West Brom midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu and Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie don their DR Congo shirts.
Mayuka, still just 24, has played over 50 times for his country and scored 11 goals.
Bloasie legs it down the left wing and gets a cross in after dropping one or two markers. The Zambia goalkeeper again has butter fingers but this time there's no pressure on him and he picks up at the second attempt.
We saw a few bad misses on day one and Dieumerci Mbokani of DR Congo has just put his hat into the ring. Good work by Issama Mpeko ends with a cross into the box and more shocking goalkeeping - this time by Kennedy Mweene, who spills the ball to the feet of Mbokani six yards out.
It's bouncing and should be buried but he blazes over. Awful finish.
BBC Sport's Alex South:, external So busy outside. Missed the opening goal!
How do DR Congo respond from that early setback? They have plenty about them going forward and are on the front foot at least, forcing a corner which is easily cleared.
In other news, there's a squeaky horn of some sort in the crowd which is hugely annoying.
It doesn't look like the guy in front is particularly happy with the noise either.
Robert Kidiaba, the goalkeeper for DR Congo, is the oldest player at this Africa Cup of Nations. He turns 39 on 1 February and plays for TP Mazembe in the country.
He will not want to remember that punch for many more years...
Well we said they had intent and it took 62 seconds for Given Singuluma to find the net with some help by generous goalkeeping.
Captain Rainford Kalaba pokes a cross into the box and out comes Robert Kidiaba in the DR Congo goal to punch bravely. His bravery is punished though as there is no distance on the punch and it falls to Given Singuluma who lashes in from the edge of the box.
All that planning and preparation smashed to pieces so quickly.
Cheeky, Zambia roll the kick-off and shoot from the halfway line. It trickles wide but it's good to see they have intent.
BBC Sport's Ed Harry in Ebebeyin: This 5,000 capacity stadium is not yet full, but one section bursting. Far right of the main stand is so full they are stood three or four deep in all the walkways. At the far end of the main stand, equivalent section is empty! Lots of fans without tickets have been turned away. Everyone screened for Ebola on entry - the time that took frustrated supporters, some of whom clashed with a large police presence outside.
