A late, late chance for Southampton but Graziano Pelle's volley ends up in Row Z.
Mo Barrow could well be seriously injured, he looks in a bad way as he is carted off the pitch on an orange stretcher. Jordi Amat is on in his place.

"It is a red card and the referee was right on the spot. It is almost like saying with the tackle - give me a red card for this. He threw himself at the ball, because it is a shocking challenge. He was flying in the air, it was a dangerous tackle."
Southampton full-back Ryan Bertrand sees red for a wild, reckless challenge on Mo Barrow - he was two feet off the ground and the follow-through left something on the winger. The player is stretchered off, as a result, after Bertrand is dragged down the tunnel before his confrontation with the Swansea bench can escalate.

"Excellent defending from Ashley Williams, his positional sense there was superb. He was absolutely first class getting himself behind the ball. I do think he is a very good player."
It's all happening now - Sadio Mane has two shots on goal from around 12 yards out, but both efforts are cleared off the line by the very under-rated figure of Swansea defender Ashley Williams.
Liam Sharpe: Swansea have done to Southampton what Southampton did to Manchester United. Top four swing today. It's a funny old game.

Southampton are rattled, but Swansea will feel like they deserve such luck. I've seen them in games this season where they've dominated and lost in the last few minutes. The match against Spurs springs to mind.

"An excellent strike. We know Jonjo Shelvey is well capable of doing that though, so I was a little bit surprised he wasn't closed down quicker. It just rifled into the back of the net. This will be a very interesting last eight or nine minutes now."
Jonjo Shelvey dips into his locker and pulls out a worldy to put Swansea on course for a smash and grab win. He picks up the ball in a central position 30 yards out, shuffles on to his right foot and dispatches a rocket of a shot into the top corner. Pick that out.
Daniel Fine: Graziano Pelle's positioning has been atrocious. A better striker would have gobbled up some of these Southampton crosses.

I've just clocked that Ronald Koeman's two right-hand men - his brother Erwin - and Sammy Lee all have the same haircut as the gaffer. Is it in the job description?
Sadio Mane has wrested the momentum back for the Saints and he spins his marker in midfield, drives forward and fires in a daisy-cutter which the goalkeeper does well to save.
Edward Layland: Southampton quite simply need to shoot more rather than try to walk it in. Where is Matt Le Tissier when you need him!

Eljero Elia fizzes in a cross from the left which evades everyone and runs to safety. There's a winner in this, surely.

"Southampton just have to watch out because they are becoming frustrated at the minute and that will only play into Swansea's hands. I'd also repeat what I said earlier - that they have to get more shots on goal with their possession."
Sadio Mane is offering Southampton a new outlet and he drops his shoulder and evades his marker before firing in an angled shot/cross which is cut out by the goalkeeper.
There's urgency about both sides now as James Ward-Prowse swings in a free-kick which lands near Jose Fonte, whose subsequent shot is blocked by Tom Carroll.
Swansea are certainly more purposeful in this second half and, as a result, Southampton's full-backs aren't being afforded as many opportunities to drive down the flanks. That's changed the flow of the game.
