The free-kick? Well, Jonjo Shelvey slips and fires it straight into the wall. Is it me, or does Shelvey slip over more than most footballers? Good player, mind.

"Garry Monk must have said something to his Swansea players at half-time, not in terms of telling them off but giving instruction, because the game is not so one-sided anymore and is a lot more attractive to watch as a consequence."
A strong, purposeful run down the flank by Mo Barrow ends with the winger being knocked off the ball on the edge of the box, resulting in a yellow card for Maya Yoshida. And a free-kick in a good position for Swansea.
Southampton make their first change of the evening - sending on striker Sadio Mane in place of impressive young midfielder Harrison Reid.

"That is more like it. End-to-end football. Shots on goal make games come alive. Jonjo Shelvey did very well, he could have passed it out early but reached his stride and was unfortunate not to score with a well-hit low shot. Then James Ward-Prowse didn't get enough power on his shot, otherwise there would have been a good chance of him scoring."
Now it's James Ward-Prowse's turn to have a shot but his scuffed effort is straight at Lukasz Fabianski.
Swansea are finally showing some ambition and Jonjo Shelvey drives forward from midfield before striking a powerful shot along the turf, across the keeper and against the base of the post. Unlucky.

"It's been a fairly gruesome first 11 minutes in this second half."
Two players who play at the opposite ends of the English football league ladder have given Ghana a healthy advantage against Guinea. Chelsea's Christian Atsu, who is on loan at Everton, opened the scoring before Cambridge United's Kwesi Appiah made it 2-0.
The second half is under way now and you can follow live coverage, before Yaya Toure and Wilfried Bony take centre stage when Ivory Coast play Algeria at 19:30 GMT.

"It seems to me that Swansea have come here to get a draw. They are making sure they are never short at the back, while not pressing early. Southampton therefore have a lot of the ball simply because the away side are not pressing them. I think Garry Monk has set his team up in such a way as to get a point, and then if they can nick a win, then great."
Ronald Koeman looks like he wants more urgency from his Saints side as he gesticulates on the touchline. As Dismalstevz points out, Southampton have looked good down the right flank. I suspect it won't be long before there's some 'big' clubs sniffing around Nathaniel Clyne. The boy has it all? England's right-back for the next 10 years?
Dismalstevz: Don't agree that this game has been stale. There's been superb play down the right. I guess when people see 0-0 they think dull.
Vincent Watts: Fair play to Southampton though, not many teams have the majority of possession when playing Swansea.

"Southampton manager Ronald Koeman holds the world record for the most league goals scored by a defender - 193!"
Eljero Elia is looking a real threat for Southampton as he pushes up on that left flank and looks to commit the Swansea full-backs. An old-fashioned winger, who looks to have bags of talent.
It appears Marvin Emnes picked up a hamstring injury in that first half. Another forward down... could that force Garry Monk into the market tomorrow?
Nick, Harrogate: I'm not sure what's driving me more to despair, the lack of quality in the final third of this match or the standard of the Year 11 mock examinations I'm trying to mark...

Let's see what you've got Southampton and Swansea.
Wow, a big statement there Charlie...
Charlie Irish: Frustrating game to watch. Harrison Reid excellent. An English Xavi?
Tim Rowtcliff: Swansea should bring on Matt Grimes. Especially if they start losing. Quality player.

It's all over at Ashton Gate. A Jay Emmanuel-Thomas strike in injury time seals all three points for Steve Cotterill's side, who return to the top of League One, leapfrogging MK Dons.
One more game to come from the third tier for you later don't forget, with Walsall entertaining Gillingham at 18:00 GMT. Why so late you ask? Well surely you know all about the Bescot Stadium Sunday Market?, external
