Darren Fletcher is straight in as captain at West Brom today. Are there any other players who were captain on their debut? I imagine it's a rare occurrence...

This morning we want to know when you've been involved in a relegation battle with your team. Did you score the goal that kept your team up? Or concede one that saw them go down? Did you avoid the drop? Or was it the Great Escape?
Elliot Aiston: A few years ago my Blaydon had five from 48 points and needed to win our last six games to stay up. Guess what? We lost all six.
Daniel Johnson: Last game of five a-side season thinking we needed to win, got beat 7-0, other team got beat 8-0. Stayed up on goal difference!

Time to polish off your bacon and eggs, put down the coffee and let someone else read your paper, because it's time to get today's Premier League show on the road.
Former West Brom midfielder Richard Sneekes
BBC Radio West Midlands at Turf Moor
"People will read into it but I don't think Tony Pulis has dropped Saido Berahino because of what he has said. Pulis looks every week at training to see who fits most to the gameplan he will use. During his career Tony has always made big calls and he will do what is right for the club. It will be interesting to se how Darren Fletcher does. He is a very humble personality, a hard working player, and hopefully we will see the best of him."
Burnley boss Sean Dyche: "We believe in this group, they have taken us to where we are today and we are looking forward to this fixture.
"We had tough games around Christmas and took five points from those games. These are important games but they are all important. We are back in the big time and every week is a a big event."
Here's a few interesting stats ahead of the early kick-off. For example, did you know that Burnley have conceded 12 headed goals this season, the most in the Premier League prior to this weekend? Or that Albion's tally of 22 points is the same as this stage last season, when they finished 17th?
Want more? Then head here.
Chad Smith: As a proud Baggie I want to welcome Darren Fletcher to West Brom and wish him all the best. Celebrate with a goal my lad!

Burnley boss Sean Dyche is relieved the January transfer window has closed as forward Danny Ings can now concentrate on scoring the goals to try to keep his side in the Premier League.
The Clarets lost to Sunderland last week and, on Ings, Dyche said: "I think that's the only game this season where it may have had an effect.
"Players can just have a quiet day, and I thought he had a quiet day, so it might have been nothing other than that.
"But, with all the media speculation during that little window, I felt it did affect him slightly."

Jack Yarnell: Me and Arron Stewart battled through a long hard season at Cowgate FC. Even with the manager Keith under pressure to play Aidan from his dad. And with a record of 0 goals in 28 apps we still managed to stay in the third tier of Newcastle youth football.
Dan Barnes: Had a relegation play-off that went to extra-time, our left-back scored one of the worst own goals you'll ever see to send us down!

So, you reach the last few days of the transfer window and you get a call from Tony Pulis about joining West Brom. What do you do? Ring Sir Alex? That's what Darren Fletcher did.
"I bounced a few things off him as he knows everything about everyone in the game," said Fletcher. "He always gives you sound advice and he reaffirms a few things in your mind. The decision is ultimately mine, but he's a great person to seek advice and ideas off."
Hopefully Fergie passed on a good tip for the 2.40pm at Ffos Las too.

Andy: Playing for a local Sunday League team. We lost our first seven matches. Our eight game was in the cup which we lost 15-0, two days later we all got the hump, refused to play and the club folded. So technically we avoided relegation!
Nick, Nottingham: We had to win on the final day to stay up. I was put in goal and at 2-2 went up for a corner in the last minute. I jumped for a header, the ball bounced off my back and my mate smashed in a volley to win it. Training ground it wasn't.

There was also frustration in the transfer market for West Brom, with manager Tony Pulis admitting he missed out on a couple of major deals.
"It's certainly going to be tougher now, yes, because we've missed out on one or two players we thought we had a good chance of getting," said Pulis., external
"It was always going to be difficult because of the short period of time and we only had four weeks really to sort the players out and get the players in that we needed.
"We're pleased with Darren Fletcher, and Callum McManaman has looked a lot stronger this week in training. But there were one or two other areas we needed to strengthen."
Burnley, like many in the Premier League, did very little business during the January transfer window. The Clarets' only transfer window business was a permanent deal for Manchester United defender Michael Keane as they missed out on their midfield targets.
"We haven't got the backers some of the teams have got - even in the Championship," said manager Sean Dyche earlier this week.
"It's a tough market out there, a really tough market, and even going into the window and going into the summer I made it quite obvious that this is not a million or two market, this is tens of millions to really, really affect it heavily."
There was no point in digging about behind the sofa for a few coppers then, Sean?
The last time these two met, in the reverse fixture at The Hawthorns, the Baggies won 4-0. It all seemed so easy for Alan Irvine's men.
But, as Sean Dyche points out, the Clarets are playing a bit better these days...
"That was a long time ago," the manager said. "We're a different animal. We're pleased with the growth in the side, the way they're adapting to Premier League football.
"It's a completely different occasion now, with the new manager (Tony Pulis), someone I know and I respect and a genuine good guy. They'll be well drilled and organised."

Leeds City FC: When we were Horsforth Maggies 05/06 we had been bottom for four months. Last game of the season we played Beeston St Anthony's who were second in West Yorkshire Association Football League. The odds were stacked against us, but we won 2-0 thanks to Mike Stone's goals. Kept us in the league.

Cheers Mandeep. And yes, I've been on the naughty chair a fair few times. That night out in Bolton in 2008...
Anyway, how is everyone? Pumped for Burnley v West Brom? Of course you are.
I'm not sure if Marc Higginson has ever been on the naughty chair but he's not on it now and is instead in the live text commentary chair today to see you through the rest of the afternoon. Enjoy.
