Corin Wright: A point is generous. Manchester United deserve to have points deducted for that display. A true embarrassment of riches.

Sean: Worst thing about the Manchester United result? Thanks to Luke Shaw's ban, Chris Smalling is probably going to have to start in defence next game.

Rohith Reddy J: About time to stop playing Wayne Rooney in midfield. He could have buried those changes. Radamel Falcao doesn't look the same player.

Oliver, Oundle: I'm really fed up. Wayne Rooney in midfield doesn't work. Was a lot better when he played up front and Ander Herrera played in midfield.

Michael, Nottinghamshire: I wish I earned £7m a year to sit on my backside and scribble on a notepad. Bailed out of jail again.

Oliver, Northamptonshire: Louis van Gaal doesn't look better than David Moyes now. Manchester United are only fourth as Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal have had bad seasons.

Manchester United goalscorer Daley Blind: "The first half was a battle and we couldn't play the ball how we wanted.

"We started the second half well then their goal came and then we had to fight again for the good moments.

"We showed we can fight but we are not happy with the draw."

Just Strauss: West Ham just lost three points. So sad considering they were all over Manchester United like a rash.

Clinton Eyong: How Manchester United nicked a point I do not know! They've been very poor and unconvincing.

Thomas Broadley: Absolutely ridiculous how many times Manchester United have picked up points this season when they've played so bad.

"A fantastic encounter. Two teams who went for it in different ways. West Ham deserved to take the lead, but this is a different Manchester United. They were rewarded for changing tack with the substitution, bringing Marouane Fellaini on. Perhaps they will be the happier of the two teams."

"That was a terrible challenge. Luke Shaw threw himself into it and in itself it was a red. A horrendously timed tackle."

Former West Ham & England striker Clive Allen
BBC Radio 5 live at Upton Park

"That is why Marouane Fellaini was introduced. The ball is knocked down and, 16 yards out, Daley Blind fires into the bottom corner. He smashes it right into the ground and the pace of it took it away from Adrian, who had no chance. Manchester United believe that they can win it now."

They've only gone and pulled it out of the fire! Marcos Rojo's speculative ball into the box is only partially cleared to Daley Blind on the edge of the box and the midfielder guides it home.

"Now that Maroune Fellaini has come on Manchester United are drilling balls into the box for him. But so far West Ham are standing firm."

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 18:01 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2015

Marouane Fellaini almost nicks a point as he shakes off his marker, spins and fires in a low shot which Adrian turns round the post.
