David De Gea has made some good saves today, his latest two to deny Mark Noble and Kevin Nolan from range.

"Mark Clattenburg gave that yellow card immediately, as soon as Wayne Rooney uttered whatever it was towards him. Enner Valencia has been a threat to the Manchester United back four all evening."
A bit of housekeeping to tell you about... Matt Jarvis is on for Enner Valencia while Manchester United's Wayne Rooney and Luke Shaw have been booked for dissent.
Mark Twain: It's a thing of beauty watching the most expensively assembled Premier League team struggle against an injury-riddled Sam Allardyce team!
Ryan Mould: I could have put that away (see 77 mins), blindfolded, with my left foot. Taxi for Radamel Falcao.

"Manchester City's draw at home to Hull on Saturday gave Manchester United such a big opportunity to close the gap for second in the table but they have not been at it today. In fact you could say all of this season they have not shown what everybody expected after the amount of investment that was made in the team."
Another great chance for the visitors as the ball drops kindly for Robin van Persie from eight yards out, after a good pass from Radamel Falcao, but Adrian's outstretched leg denies the Dutch striker.
Marcus, Liverpool: You know United aren't what they used to be when loading a big man on and going route one is their plan B.

What was the best you've seen scored by a centre-half?
Ryan Pilcher: You're forgetting Hearts Centre-back Alim Ozturk's 40-yarder in injury time to equalise in the Edinburgh derby.
Grow more: Clearly Philippe Albert's lob over The Great Dane.
Cante: Best goal by a centre-half? Chris Nicholl's in League Cup Final replay v Everton.

A bit of pinball in the box and Marouane Fellaini heads just over the bar from inside the box. We're heading for a tasty final 10 minutes.
What was the best goal you've seen scored by a centre-half?
Barry Brown: Tommy Taylor for Leyton Orient v Chelsea in FA Cup. Thunderous drive.
Goonerama: Re: best goal by a centre-half - ask the current Southampton gaffer...
Jay Ali: Seb Coates' spectacular scissor kick v QPR was a fine goal by a centre-half.

"That was a big chance. Radamel Falcao mis-kicks his finish and that just sums up how he is performing at the moment. He's nowhere near his best."
That's the chance. Radamel Falcao wins a header and is played in on goal by Robin van Persie's clever ball but the striker drags his shot wide under pressure from the onrushing Adrian.
What was the best goal you've seen scored by a centre-half?
Will, Stockport: Less of the Andy Morrison bashing! The City legend actually scored a 20 yard volley away at Oldham soon after joining us in 1998. Though I concede he may have had his eyes shut.
Liam Shone: Daniel Agger in 2006 scored a 30 - yarder in front of the Kop vs West Ham, absolute beauty.

"Marouane Fellaini was introduced at Queens Park Rangers and came up with a goal. How Manchester United need one now. They need to score quickly to stay in this. You can see West Ham making one of these counter-attacking moves count and a second goal for the Hammers would kill this game off."
Alex Song is the first West Ham player to be booked, for a foul on a rampaging Wayne Rooney. The resulting free-kick is put into the stand by Angel Di Maria.
Here he comes... Marouane Fellaini replaces Adnan Januzaj.
The stats boffins tell me Manchester United have never come from behind to win a Premier League game under LvG. Now would be a good time to change all of that.
What was the best goal you've seen scored by a centre-half?
Andy Geoghegan: Martin Buchan. 25-yard screamer 1978/79 after he had seen Ari Haan score for Netherlands in Argentina 1978 World Cup. Stretford End erupted.
Punk Paultje: Not sure I've seen a better goal by a centre-half than Cheikhou Kouyate's but I did see John De Wolf score the perfect hat-trick away at Port Vale.

West Ham are pressing for a second now and Stewart Downing tees up Carl Jenkinson on the edge of the box and the full-back's deflected shot drifts just wide.
