"Things slowly are calming down and people are moving. It's a real chaotic scene. It looks like the players are getting into position to start again."
Still Equatorial Guinea and Ghana players wait on the pitch. A couple of officials in suits have just come on, seemingly to assure the players and coaches of the two teams and now the players look to be taking up their positions on the pitch. Are we about to get back under way?

"The Ghana fans are marching out of the stadium - it is a sight to behold. There is a big plume of tear gas - the tear gas is spreading to the middle and up towards the back corner. The supporters are diving for cover. It's the clear the authorities have moved in with force. One fan has jumped over the wall and landed on an ambulance - that's a 20 foot drop."

"My colleague Nick Cavell has been coughing having felt the effects of tear gas. The situation is more contained than it was but we still have had Ghana fans below us."
The stands have emptied quite a bit and the situation appears to be much more contained than it was. Both sets of players are still out on the pitch though, with this game having been suspended for almost 30 minutes now.
Leicester and Ghana player Jeffrey Schlupp: , externalAbsolutely embarrassing! Just let us go to the final and win this tournament in peace!
Alfred Pappa Darkwah:, external This is incredible absolutely embarrassing, shameful and total madness.why is it always Africa for the wrong reasons
Jemimah Kwoba:, external Something has to be done about Hooliganism in football. It's mars the Beautiful game
Some of the Equatorial Guinea players are over by where those fans have come on to the edge of the pitch. Avram Grant is stood with the officials and his Ghana players in the middle. I'd be surprised if the final few minutes of this game are played out.

"I've just seen one chair ripped up and thrown on the running track."
Despite the disturbances off the pitch, the Ghana players seem in good spirits, some dancing and smiling. They are close to being confirmed as being in the final.

"The Ghana fans are where they were - on the running track. The pitch is littered with officials. This is the end of the Africa Cup of Nations for Equatorial Guinea, and something more severe for them."
It seems the officials and players are still hopeful the final few minutes can continue. The Ghana fans are still stood at one end of the pitch, though, and you imagine nothing can continue until they move away.

"The chopper was becoming caught. It's sent things sprawling around and it sent fans sprawling. Chaos in Malabo."

"Equatorial Guinea forward Javier Balboa just stood right in the area where the water bottles were coming down to plead with fans."
The players and officials from both teams are still stood in the middle of the pitch. The coaches of the two teams, Avram Grant and Esteban Becker, shake hands and discuss the situation. It does appear that the stadium is emptying as a helicopter, presumably security, hovers above.

"I'm not sure why the Ghana fans felt the need to come down to the running track. They are now cowering as the bottles are raining down on them."
There is the suggestion that the fans gathered at one end are the Ghana supporters. Why they are there I'm not certain. Everyone seems a little unsure as to how to deal with the situation.

"This is absolutely disgusting. The Equatorial Guinea players are trying to calm everyone down but it does not seem to be working."
This is not pleasant to see. Play is stopped with the players stood in the middle of the pitch as a group of supporters appear to have gathered at one end of pitch. Bottles are still being thrown. Such a shame.
Frank Acheampong is on for Andre Ayew for the final few minutes for Ghana but play is stopped shortly after his introduction. There appears to be some trouble on the edge of the pitch...
