Equatorial Guinea have rarely threatened to score in this half but they give the home fans a moment of excitement when Ruben Belima crosses towards the far post where Doualla is lurking, but he lashes high and wide.
With the result in the bag, Ghana boss Avram Grant opts to rest Wakaso Mubarak's tiring legs and brings on Emmanuel Badu for the closing stages.

"A cameraman has just been struck by a water bottle and Ghana coach Avram Grant almost got struck by one."
Peter Mesias Kambala:, external I foresee Avram Grant losing another final.
That's it. Game over and Ghana will play in the final. Felipe Ovono races out once again to try and beat Kwesi Appiah to a ball but fails, Appiah then feeds the ball into the path of Andre Ayew, who taps in. He is now joint top scorer at the tournament with three goals.
Another change for Equatorial Guinea as Ivan Edu goes off, full-back Sipo on his place. His arrival means Ruben Belima will move into an advanced role, but time is running out for the hosts.
Ghana have a free kick wide left. Is Felipe Ovono going to venture out and take his place in the Equatorial Guinea wall? No, he stays on his goalline as Wakaso Mubarak swings in the free-kick, but the hosts clear.

"It's getting a bit messy. We seem to be stopping, shouting and screaming at each other rather than passing and playing football."
It is all getting a bit niggly as the referee flashes yellows in the direction of Afriyie Acquah and Ivan Edu. Frustrations are bubbling over a little as time ticks away.
Andre Ayew goes for a 50-50 with Kike, referee thinks he goes in too heavy and decides it is worthy of a yellow. Ayew shrugs his shoulders in disbelief.
Hilarious antics from Felipe Ovono follow as he races out of his area to the right flank to try and clear, he just about gets away with it but is taking sweeper keeper to the extreme.
Pablo Miguez:, external Ghana to "do a Germany" and destroy the hosts -who shouldn't have reached semifinals- now.
Daniel Akwapa:, external Definitely it is going to be Ghana winning Afcon my lovely country men.
A lovely one-two ends with Christian Atsu's low cross inside the area being stabbed behind by Diosdado Mbele. Corner to Ghana which Wakaso Mubarak takes, but a foul on the goalkeeper as it is swung in denies Ghana the chance to add a third.
Tevin O: , externalMan I just want to leave class watching this dumb video when the #blackstars are playing
Equatorial Guinea coach Esteban Becker decides it is time to mix things up in his attack, taking off Evuy and bringing on 6ft 6ins striker Fabiani Bosio. Can the big man have an impact?

"Ivan Edu has not been playing very well today. He needed to have more of a powerful shot."
Equatorial Guinea quickly go up the other end as Emilio Nsue plays in Ivan Edu, but his angled shot drifts wide. Next goal is going to be crucial.
That should have been a third! A long ball into the area is headed down in front of goal by Wakaso Mubarak, Andre Ayew and John Boye are there but they can't make the crucial touch to turn the ball home.
Sarah Morgan:, external Will Spidey mascot sling web across Ghana goal to prevent Equatorial Guinea? Iceman needed to cool tempers!
Top work Sarah, top work
Better from Equatorial Guinea as Emilio Nsue shows good feet to make space for himself on the right, he sends in the cross but it is too deep, Ivan Edu tracks it and keeps the ball in play but he can't beat his marker and the chance is gone.
