  3. Should Kane play for England's U21s?published at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 15 March 2015

    Former Blackburn striker Chris Sutton
    BBC Radio 5 live

"If I was Mauricio Pochettino of course I would want Harry Kane to be resting this summer. But you want him to play because you want a feel good factor in the national team. I can see both sides of the argument, but why don't we ask Harry Kane what he thinks?

"I could understand if after the intensity of his first full Premier League season, he might want to put his feet up. It's a tough one. But if there was a ruling that says all players have to play, then things would be for the better."

  4. Should Kane play for England's U21s?published at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 15 March 2015

    Former England defender Danny Mills
    BBC Radio 5 live

"Mauricio Pochettino will put Harry Kane under big pressure not to go, but if you look at the Spanish, or the Germans, all their players have all played in U21 tournaments in the summer. It gives them great experience and makes them better players.

"When you are 19, 20, 21, you can run all day - you don't need that much of a break. A couple of weeks on a beach somewhere maybe. We have to create a culture that makes players want to go and play for the U21s, because the players on the continent are desperate to be involved."

"Manchester United's route map for the rest of the season is clear after the FA Cup quarter-final exit at home to Arsenal on Monday - top four or bust.

"They face a Tottenham team with similar ambitions here at Old Trafford as they currently stand three points behind fourth-placed United, separated by Liverpool and Southampton.

Paul Moore:, external Southampton have defended amazingly today. Credit to them and their manager. Chelsea are knocking but not full pelt.

Munaldinho:, external Chelsea trying to walk the ball in the net, very frustrating. They have to be more adventurous and take chances.

Derek, Writtle: Chelsea fans constantly bleating about the world being against them. It's exactly the sort of siege mentality that served Manchester United and Sir Alex Ferguson so well for over twenty years.

Chris, Nottingham: Love that old trick of taking a player off when they've avoided a dismissal. I actually see it as being quite polite to the other team in removing that player from the game anyway. Guess that doesn't really make Southampton feel any better with Ramires coming on.
