And there goes the half-time whistle.

  2. HANDBALLpublished at 13:33 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

That's a handball in fact! Spurs lucky to get away with that one, Erik Lamela scored with his arm. Harry Kane flicked it on right in front of him so he had little time to react, but he was lucky.

  3. GOALpublished at 13:29 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

A goal out of nothing! Spurs have been abject but they level as Harry Kane flicks on an Eric Dier cross and Erik Lamela arrives on cue to head home. Kelvin Davis in the Saints goal got a strong wrist on it but can only push it in off the inside of the post.

Jacob in Barnet: Abysmal defending by Tottenham, thank god for Kane because Tottenham's defence is like an average championship team!

Paul F in London: Fairly clear from the play, and atmosphere, that both sides have little interest in qualifying for the Europa. And understandably so.

Dan in Brentwood: I'm not surprised by Eriksen's passing stats, his passing in general since January has been sloppy and far from characteristic.

That is a lovely move, top-class football, total football almost from the Saints on the day they celebrate Ronald Koeman day.

The ball sweeps effortlessly from right to left and back again, ending at the feet of Steven Davis - but he sidefoots wide from 15 yards out. Good chance!

At the other end Nacer Chadli tees up Ryan mason for a blocked shot. It's coming to the boil.

Spurs defender Ben Davies protested that he was fouled in the build-up to that goal - and he may have a point. It stands though and the hosts deserve their lead.

What a mess!. Sadio Mane breaks forward for the Saints but he's tackled 25 yards out. Ryan Mason sweeps up and there is zero danger on the horizon. He can do anything with the ball.

Anything except what he does do, which is fall over and lose the ball. Ben Davies still has time to clear his lines but he hesitates and Graziano Pelle is able to get there and toe-poke home.

"Not a spare seat in the house but not much to shout about for either set of fans, it's all a bit lacklustre to be honest with you. Mauricio Pochettino is currently playing the pantomime villain, booed every time he steps out onto his technical area. Sadio Mane up against Ben Davies and Harry Kane versus Jose Fonte are two intriguing battled in the opening 20 minutes."

  17. Sunderland in troublepublished at 13:03 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

    Phil Neville
Former England international on Football Focus

On Sunderland: "I was at the recent Tyne-Wear derby and Sunderland played great and scored a great goal that day. After the game all fans kept saying "we're happy now we've beaten Newcastle" but that worried me. They need to improve dramatically at home if they are to stay up.

"They are getting sucked into it big time and they need to win this game - a draw is no good because one point will not help them, they need three points."

Rangers goalkeeper Steve Simonsen: 20 years ago I first visited Tranmere Rovers FC as a 16-year-old triallist, that football club & the people & fans of the Wirral were the catalyst for what's turned out to be an amazing career in football for me, & I'll always be forever grateful. This is why I wish the club all the luck in the world, in their last two games of the season, the Football League is unimaginable without Rovers.‬

Going up? Facing the drop? Mid-table anonymity? How are you feeling?

Charles Ridley: Better performance needed from West Ham today. A top-10 finish and derby win would be good

Lawrence, Gloucester: Cheltenham Town fan here - been watching them in the Football League for years. Can only pray the Robins stay up! Certainly needs a miracle!
