The hosts starting to threaten as Ryan Bertrand feeds in a very appetising cross from the left but nobody is able to read it and get there for a tap-in. Fairly sedate start considering both sides are pushing for a place in Europe next season.

"The owners at QPR are lovely people, but where they have fallen short is with the type of person they have brought to the club. The players brought in - their motivation levels are not based on anything to do with QPR."

On Darren Fletcher's importance at West Brom: "He is an outstanding character to put in your club, you need a leader on the pitch and he's a great leader. He's also a great professional and he will be brilliant with the young players on the training pitch.

"When you go into a club you need a player to take your beliefs onto that pitch, I think he was a great signing and I think they are safe."

Is next season the one when Erik Lamela comes good for Spurs? Or is it the one he is loaned out to Palermo? Both look equally likely to me. He is a talented player, no doubt. Is he going to make a breakthrough in the Premier League though?

He has shown some neat touches in the opening minutes.

A massive, massive goal from a man who knows a thing or two about them. Troy Deeney puts Watford ahead on a weekend in which they can secure promotion to the Premier League. Horrible defending.

A minute's silence will be held before all Premier and Football league matches today to mark the 30th anniversary of the Bradford City fire.

A few of you have just watched Sean Dyche's interview with Alastair Campbell on Football Focus, and there's a lot of love for the gruff-voiced Burnley boss.

Mark Ellames: Love listening to Sean Dyche. Management, team spirit, enthusiasm, knowledge in abundance

On Leicester City: "They have confidence, momentum and belief which you need at the bottom. A few weeks ago Nigel Pearson was fighting for his job, no one could see how they would win one game let alone three and now look at them.

"If they go into the last game needing a win over QPR I fancy them to get the win."

    Leicester City

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson did the rounds this week with a few one-on-one interviews in the press. I saw someone mention to him that they were now 'almost safe' after winning three games in a row.

His response was clinical. And utterly unprintable. The momentum is with the Foxes though. No doubt about it.

"You talk about momentum and Leicester have it. The emotion and belief is there. The way they are playing, I don't think they fear many teams at the moment. Those four home games they've got are a big deciding factor.

"But I've not been surprised by Burnley's work level. A lot of the time it's down to not having the ball and they are very organised when they don't have it."

On Burnley: "With Sean Dyche I think he knows it's 50/50 whether they will stay up but I think he is trying to build a team spirit that could ultimately keep them in the league.

"He probably could bring in different players to the team but that might destabilise the team."

Tottenham's squad is a funny one isn't it Will?

As you say, some very good players and some pretty average-looking ones on paper. Time for another clearout?

Mind you, if I was in charge at White Hart Lane last season I probably would have sold Harry Kane to Millwall and Ryan Mason to Orient. Life would have been very different for all concerned...

How do you see it going for your side today? Whether you're clinging on to stay up, scrapping at the top end, or preparing for next season, give us your thoughts.

Will, Berlin: I look at that Spurs line up and I see a spine of quality - Lloris, Vertongen, Eriksen and Kane - surrounded by averageness... It's not rocket science Mr Levy, sell the rest not the best!

MusicRab: This is Newcastle's Cup Final. Yes, its been that bad. Carver needs to get the troops fired up

Peter Humfrey: Stevenage fan but also praying for Luton and Southend wins today and next Saturday... as long as we win of course
